WCMUT....what cheered me up today

WCMUT was a pinch of catnip! Well, the cat while she was up on it.

Tiger Tomatoes back on the shelf :D

Tickets for Goodwood Festival of Speed ordered for the Sunday. Lucky to get them, looks like it will be fully booked before the end of today.

One more day of work, then four days break :-)

Exactly my reaction :)
I was convinced I went out with her once, didn't realise that was a mask till she took it off ...
...nope not her
:D

WCMUT was discovering that Sainsbury's is open until 11pm -
Thats what comes of living out in the sticks my Tesco is open 24 hours 6 days a week (apart from Saturday night into Sunday). :p

WCMUT?
The expression on the young girls face as she came round a blind bend on the wrong side of the road, drinking from a bottle and finding me coming the other way.
And then having to reverse manoeuvre back on her own side and around the bend ...
Priceless :D

There are 24 hour supermarkets in town (as well as just out of town) but I can be in and out of our preferred Sainsbury's as fast as the till queues will let me. About 2 minutes door to door (in and out, not home to home!) Bike was still ticking to itself when I got back to it.

Veg? I'm a confirmed salad dodger! (Although I do eat them while on holiday.)

Must admit I had a snigger :)

What is it with the 'bird' section photographers?

Or Interlopers in the Macro Section for that matter...

Not to mention people who allegedly practice poor parental control...

I was sure that your (Mark's) cheery thing would have been wielding the ban hammer!

WCMUT was unexpected sunshine on the course this morning.

its generally somewhat sad and depressing to actually have to resort to getting the banhammer out if I'm honest...

Just seen an ad for Birdseye potato waffles...waffly versatile.
Takes me back!

But, considering there are some 60000 members it doesn't happen too often. I don't know how many are active users but even 1 in 3- so say 20000: how many numpties do you have in a good sized town?

I would suggest about the same as Norfolk :D

Talking of Norfolk:

I was in Skye a few years ago, in Portree, during the local Festival- seeing how long you could hold a car battery at arms length, caber tossing etc.

You could tell the locals by how ... strange they were . A bit of inbreeding becomes apparent.

Not many numpties, just strange.

Norfolk is even easier, 6 fingers on each hand, and webbed feet :D

And their mother also being their sister/aunt/grandma ;)

A score of 6 on a hole is called a Norfolk Handful down here! (Oddly, inbreeding is apparently more common in inner cities than in the countryside [these days]. Plenty of bastardy out in the green bits but less of the incest!)

Facebook with its old photos feature. This morning I was greeted by a photo of our lovely dog. It was today three years ago we went to see him at the breeders. I'm not surprised we couldn't resist him

Three years on, now looks at this magnificent beast.

Lots to cheer me up today. You just can't beat English fish and chips by the sea (or a battered sausage for my youngest child).

Darn! I just finished my 'last pork pie', from our consignment of pies, pasties and cheddar cheese we brought back from our trip to the UK a week ago. :-(

I'll make the Branston pickle last a bit longer though. But not up to Christmas for the next batch.

WCMUT..... 07:05 this morning - currently staying at my youngest son's house...... heard a screach of brakes, a sound of metal on metal.... looked out the bedroom window and saw the sight of the neighbour's t-rag son being chased by his even worse t-rag father. Seems the son has lost control of his Focus ST as he swung into the drive and rammed his father's (pride and joy, immaculate, 6 month old) Audi Q7! Heavy damage to both.

I do not, by nature, do the schadenfreude thing, but for this arrogant, jumped up, self serving, 'entitled', indulgent bunch of tw@ts - I am in heaven.

I was tempted to take a J Cloth and some T-Cut out to do the good neighbour thing but someone must have called Plod and so I resisted. No point in adding to their family moment....

My son went out for a looksee and 2 hours later he still has his Cheshire Cat grin.

Both cars have been collected and transported - awesome service in a Somerset village on a Sunday morning!

To make me smile more..... after an overcast daybreak, the sun is breaking out.....

Fry up and a wander down to the cricket club to watch my son and his mates get the pitch ready for today's game...... bar opens at noon, they do a super pint of Guinness but, to spoil a great day, I am still on a no booze regime due to my meds....

Being a native Cornishman who has lived in Berkshire for many years, the sight of Dave Hallett's beautiful image of Godrevy light in the X-T1 forum.

First day at my new job in the city today, excited like a child's first day at school :)

Clinging to mummy's hand and screaming your head off?
Lol no I was never that child, I just ran to the nice looking young teacher for a cuddle :)
