WCMUT?

Car going straight through its (half price) MOT for the fifth time since my local Peugeot dealer told me it needed a new exhaust as the crappy strap on the back box had rotted off.

.....friend had done an emergency repair with copper wire to get us back from Scotland, and I thought I would just see what they had to say! Unsurprisingly I have not been back to them. :D

Being able to get out of a BMW i8 without falling flat on the floor. What a magnificent vehicle, but I couldn't deal with getting in and out on a daily basis. Cheered me up though.

A beautiful young woman, smiling at me and saying heeelllooo ( in a silly giggly girlie voice ) then I realised she was speaking to my staffie :)

Le Mans live on Eurosport plus live on board footage from 1 Ford GT on my laptop and footage from another on my tablet.
 
I just heard myself and some friends being interviewed on Bavarian radio. They were interested in our opinion of the Brexit question.

1st, 3rd, 4th & 9th in class for Ford at Le Mans. Not a bad way to celebrate 50yrs since their 1 2 3 with the GT 40.

There is talk they may get 2nd on a technicality, although I hope not as it wouldn't be right. Fisichella who finished 2nd was supposed to come in to have a race position light fixed on the side of his car, the team refused with only 20 mins of the race remaining. Then they were ordered in for a stop go penalty instead, but again they refused. I don't think the Ford team would have wanted to take a race position just because of an irrelevant light not working.
Got to feel sorry for Toyota, their lead car broke down metres short of the finish line with time for just one lap to go. As a result Porsche won, they couldn't believe their luck, other Toyota car finished 2nd. The drivers from the latter didn't look to happy on the podium knowing their 2nd was little consolation for what their team mates had lost.

Yes. The interviewer didn't find anyone who wanted to put their own job prospects or their residency permit into question. In fact, as we are all foreigners ourselves, none of us have an irrational fear of foreigners. Especially as we all mostly work in places that need the pick of the best to get things done.

Watching some people pulling loads of stringy stuff out of their 4x4 exhaust, looked a bit like someone's very long wig had
crawled into it, some very funny suggestion made but no one really knew what it was, just seemed to go on forever.
Yes I have since found out what it is, never had it happen to me or anyone I know

Early morning walk with the dog in the rain. Wow that woke me up. I'm alive and kicking. Its a beautiful day.
 
Spending money! I've just ordered another Sony Bluetooth Headset.

I use one every day on the commute listening to podcasts. It makes the underground journey something to look forward to. My old one lasted years. And I don't like fiddling with long leads. Even though most people on the underground seem to manage.

OK, the scan was in March and I've just got the letter but I'm sure that had Mr Haden seen anything sinister when he reviewed the scan, he'd have been in touch sooner.

4th (re)birthday in September so I'll be celebrating it in Crete as usual, probably with a large Mojito for lunch with seafood spaghetti to soak some of it up!

Of course, the main thing that CMUT was picking the cat up from the hotel and being forgiven for leaving her there for 2 weeks. Easy to get her forgiveness - open pouch. Pour. Instant forgiveness!!!
 
With all the excitement of today, I nearly forgot that this is an important day for me regardless. It has been a long time, long enough that it was shot in film :) Happy anniversary with my gorgeous wife.
