I just sold my entire Sony FF setup to WEX and have gone all in M4/3...got sick of the bulk and weight tbh.
Told myself I only needed 3 lenses and I'm already 6, damn browsing in the garden with a bottle of whiskey! :D

These latest 2 arrived yesterday!

I have super bad GAS, and I just exploded. Incoming is my first ever Nikon… the Nikon ZF with 40mm SE. Now to spend even more time looking for one other lens to pair with it… This will be used mainly for street…
 
Well another night sat in my garden with a bottle whiskey and my iPad and today another lens turns up.
Really should give up the booze :D

Curious. I have one of these and have recently sold my Olympus kit but for some reason I have kept it. Could you tell me what you paid for it - either here or in a message?

Sure of course, I was looking specifically for the vII version of the lens over the v1 and used priced prices for a good one seem to over £200.

I actually looked at the usual spots (MPB, WEX etc and then Ebay) but then though to check Amazon and there was a seller on the there selling one unboxed but excellent condition for £189 inc delivery so I bought that one.
 
Yesterday. Canon EF 50mm 1.2 AF. Melikey. Mekeepy.
 
Spent a massive £16 on a Canon Ftb QL off ebay. It's in near mint condition and everything works perfectly. Film camera number 15. I need to stop looking on fleabay.

Nothing purchased, but I've sold 13 lenses and 18 cameras, I've even stopped looking on Ebay
 
Sold my black Fujifilm X70 3 years ago at a healthy profit so was quite pleased at first. Then the regret set in so bought another which after a few months was bundled into a p/x package with WEX, another profit so quite pleased. It's the only compact camera I've ever regretted parting with so, yes I've secured another nice example which I suspect won't be going anywhere. So it's not so much GAS for me but rather GRAS, gear re-acquisition syndrome.
 
Oh dear. I was looking at the OM3 at the weekend. I fear I may become a lost soul.
 
A couple of new Godox flashes for me recently, a Magmod Magshoe, some new light stands, and a large octabox. There have been questions from the Wife :D
 
After secretly thinking about a Panasonic S9 for a while I saw wex were doing a deal with a 20-60 same price as body only. I mentioned it to my wife a few times. Went to have a look at one to make sure it would fit in my bag which it did! I came away from the shop with the S9 and 20-60! Oh and in the quest for the ideal bag, that also had to be brought recently too. Can't have too many bags right lol. I started to google L mount lenses afterwards, which was greeted by stop it, surely the camera is enough

Make that 19 cameras, I sold my last Nikomat yesterday, still plenty I need to move on, hopefully they'll be gone by next spring, as I've just renewed my passport, and I'm planning on doing more travelling than I've been doing lately.
 
After much umming and arghing over some time I've finally ordered a Sony 20-70mm F4 G lens.... I know it wont greatly improve my photography, well other than being that bit wider than my 28-60mm, etc, but I've been wanting a pressie for some time.

Just got to wait for it to come now!

Oh dear, I've had a slight relapse, it's had new light seals fitted, I've had a roll of Kodak Elite 100 in the freezer for a few years, time to get it out.Screenshot_20250808_140845_Instagram.jpg
