Yeah I saw that so will wait a bit - I was going to ask about sizing anyway!
Shame for you, but something to look forward to come spring?
Ours haven't arrived yet. Had the order received e-mail and the order says it's free express delivery. Both sizes were allegedly in stock when I ordered.
My first ride of the year, weather permitting, will be tomorrow. The weather has been so rainy or icy of late I've only done errands when necessary so a good rideout will cheer me up no end.out on the bike monday...can not wait, i was actually going to use the opportunity to go out with the camera, but a couple of mates are coming now so i always feel a bit of a tit with them waiting whilst i take shots so il probably bin the idea of taking the camera for another day
2 of mine are but I keep one for rideouts and a runaround for errands through the winter.Mine are now off the road for the winter and also do some servicing and odd jobs on them
Well, having posted this back in April I went on to pick up a beautiful Stage 2 Sport Glide FLSB with very little mileage on the clock. 1750cc of American muscle, and I'm loving it!Yesterday a friend and I (he's currently riding a rather lovely CCM) took out a couple of Harleys, courtesy of the lovely guys over at Watford Harley-Davidson. It's immediately adjacent to North London Triumph and both dealerships are actually fantastic. Well done, Lind.
Anyway, the bikes were a Sports Glide with a Stage 1 upgrade to its 1750cc 107 Milwaukee-Eight engine; and a Fat Bob, with an 1870cc 114 Milwaukee-Eight. Both were absolute beasts, though, with the kind of torque that literally has you hanging on for dear life when you give them a little more throttle than "normal". In fact, the upgraded 107 engine would have been boosted by about 10% and - if anything - delivered its power more smoothly than the standard 114.
This was the first time I'd ever ridden a Harley, and whilst the Fat Bob did nothing for me I was blown away by the Sports Glide... what a bike, albeit it's just been replaced by the Low Rider ST with it's 1920cc 117 engine. Getting back on the Tiger later in the day was a totally weird experience, and I was genuinely struggling to find the rear brake lever for a few minutes (which genuinely felt like someone had actually moved it into a different position altogether). This morning, both my legs are really aching too

nice day today perfect for a service on the brakes and clutch, changed the fluids

I loved my Bandit, until I crashed it. Mine was an X reg, 600, with carbs. Flames out the back was a common occurence. Even when I sold it, just about 3 years ago, it had just over 13,000 miles on it.

Just about a month later, it looked like this.....

Helmet did its job, probably the best money I've ever spent.....

oh no hope you was ok afterwards

Oops! Hope you got a decent pay-out from the insurance. Bandits seem to be popular among the chop builders!

cold 108 miles around north wales today for breakfast, sunnier as the day progressed and the A roads were not too bad, but the B5105 from Ruthin to Cerrigydrudion was decidedly dodgy in a lot of places, especially those areas that were in shade, speed was down to 30mph at some points, downhill on slush and snow on road tyres is defiantly a bit bum twitchy this is normally one of my favourite stretches of road in north wales especially since its been resurfaced and i have never been as slow on it ever ...anyway better than sitting in the house and the breakfast in Ruthin was spot on, no bike for a bit for me as were away in Spain for a bit...might hire a bike for a day when were out there

It would be rude not to do Skye ...
It would be rude not to do Skye ...
i was actually quite disappointed in Skye considering all the good reports ive heard about it, apart from the Quiraing it was nothing special really, Flora McDonalds grave was good to visit with the thatched houses though, far better in my opinion is the mull of Kintyre, really good, west coast looking onto the Atlantic is wild and rugged, with a fast dual lane road the east coast looking onto arran is sheltered, on tight twisty single track i will never tire of it...or the rest of the west coast, the road from Oban to Inveraray via Kilmartin is epic too ...cant wait to get back up on the bike again( im there for a flying visit on Saturday for 4 days but unfortunately in the car )It would be rude not to do Skye ...
