i was actually quite disappointed in Skye considering all the good reports ive heard about it, apart from the Quiraing it was nothing special really, Flora McDonalds grave was good to visit with the thatched houses though, far better in my opinion is the mull of Kintyre, really good, west coast looking onto the Atlantic is wild and rugged, with a fast dual lane road the east coast looking onto arran is sheltered, on tight twisty single track i will never tire of it...or the rest of the west coast, the road from Oban to Inveraray via Kilmartin is epic too ...cant wait to get back up on the bike again( im there for a flying visit on Saturday for 4 days but unfortunately in the car )
I agree!!!
That is one of my favourite parts of Scotland! The road via Kilberry is lovely too looking out to Jura.

but not in one day.
