Motorbikes

Lovely little ride out to Horseshoe pass today. Cold and foggy on top but still grand.

Bike not too s***ty when I got home but still cleaned it off.

Slight front end wobble almost gone. Got one more thing to try tomorrow which should finally sort it.

did you have much snow, i was up on the yorkshire dales today and there was a ice and a bit of snow up on the top of the hartside pass( thankfully not on the road)

Rode out to a small bike meet at the Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker near Nantwich.
weirdly my mate was talking about this place when we were having a bit of breakfast at Millennium motorcycles, if we did not have to rush home to watch Liverpool destroy united we were going to go

Just imagine if you had gone then got home to realise you could have watched that instead of hanging around a cold, grey, damp car park for a couple of hours.

:D

It was a good turnout, actually. Around 100 or so bikes when I left, with more arriving. Lots of Harleys but a good mix of bikes from 125s to monster trikes and everything in between.

Bacon butties were a bit expensive but all proceeds were for Royal British Legion, so...

By the way, i'm going to the Houghton Tower sprint near Preston in April. Really enjoyed it last year.

Are you based up that way?

me and 3 amigos did 275 miles today round the south lakes, penines, yorkshire dales and northumberland ( well 2 miles in and out to go to a cafe we like), great day to be out on the bike, bit cold in places, down to -3, seen snow up at the hartside pass but it was not on the roads, some of the puddles at the side of the road were iced over, only saw 3 other bikes all day, time for a hot chocolate and a bath to warm up..meant to be up the west coast of scotland in 11 days...il have to wait and see if i go, see how the snow is

Nice one.
West coast should be fine by then. Most of the snow will lie on the central Highlands I'd expect

Now I know you good people are very anti electric motorbikes; but where do you stand on bikes with an automatic gearbox?
