How can you get in trouble for buying a 5 foot 75kg scanner that needs a desperate computer to run it?
Selfish, selfish, selfish! Then you'll all start sending your negs to me for scanning and I won't have any free time....oh no we're not going down that road.![]()
Huh! Why is it so heavy does it have a 3HP single phase electric motor doing the scanning.
If it wa s closer I'd go for it, the GF670 is high on my want list.https://www.gumtree.com/p/non-digital-cameras/fuji-film-professional-400-ono/1145108901
Obviously buyer beware but a Fuji GF670 for £400 could be an awesome bargain. Go on, who's got the free cash? ;0)

Snap although a divorce around Christmas would be more expensive than the camera :0)

That's a good spot Andy, even cheaper than Bristol Cameras. Has anybody actually used it? Is it good for landscapes or portraits or both or neither?Yep, same here.
And in other news... For the large formateers, Sharif Photo have reduced the price of the very slightly OOD Fuji 160NS. Even with postage it is under £60 for 20 sheets. £3 a shot for colour 5x4 aint too bad.

Thanks Stephen, that's good to know. I might give some a go, it's a good price. When I use colour, it's the film I use, but only in 120. I'd characterise it as contrasty with vivid greens - rather like Velvia slide film, taking account of the difference between negative and slide. BUT - that might just be a result of the conditions in which I use colour and the way I scan it (I've only made colour prints from slides via Cibachrome).
