WCMUT....what cheered me up today

Lol no I was never that child, I just ran to the nice looking young teacher for a cuddle :)
I wasn't that lucky, my infant school teacher, Mrs Gunn, looked around 90. My form teacher in the 1st year of secondary school was a different matter though.(y)
Best of luck in the new job though.

Which was my one of the drivers to switch. It should be about 70% from home :p

Uh, oh! Two bosses.

Should we look out for his name in Operation Yew Tree? ;)

Washing my keys to Mrs Nod's car (complete with plipper...) and the plipper still working. Getting a same day appointment with the doctor.

Speaking of schools... It was June Day yesterday at my kids' old school, pic from The Heriot Club:

Being home from work already, I'm liking the private sector :) just pre-heating the BBQ now ready for the girls to come back from school.

VERY little things please my VERY little mind! To pass the time, I play Hearts against the computer (well, it was a free app!) and I've just managed a perfect quadruple Moon shooting.

Like I sed, little minds!

I play Hearts against the computer
I like playing that too, only white washed the other players ( computer) a couple of times though.

WCMUT? finally getting a phone call from my local firearms officer, telling me that she is finally processing my renewal application,
It only ran out 6 months ago !
At least they sent a temporary cert to keep me legal...

Ooh, so your home can feel like the office too. Why not also take your work laptop on holiday to complete your misery? :p

I like being at home, got my own special office with three desks for those who want to join. Complete with biometric access control, elephants trumpeting and lions roar. It is good to be home and not commute. Had a lovely BBQ with my children (and wife) which I would otherwise never be able to do during the week.

The layout of Talkphotography. I think it looks so much better with categories being on their own rather than one supporting a load of sub-categories which I've never been that keen on, especially in the photography section. Yes, it makes the forum home page longer but at the same time in better order.

I think Marcel got it right with this one.

A satisfied customer? quick, have him stuffed and mounted :D

WCMUT? Finally sorting the brakes on my Walker! :)
Holy crap, you mean you had no brakes before?

Paying up for my car's vehicle tax online.

I'd forgotten how easy it was - beautifully designed Site - it just works painlessly

I'd not even closed the window and the email confirmation was in my inbox.

There have certainly been some hairy moments!
Hell's Grandad
Next your'll be covered in tattoos & wearing a bandanna :D

Anything's got to be better than wasting time commuting!

WCMUT is my guts behaving themselves so the antibiotics can (hopefully) be avoided.

Storm's-a-brewin ...
Lots of thunder some rain ..

White = 50mm rain /hour, someone is getting wet ...

Glorious sunshine down here! :P

So glorious that we're having a small practise Ouzo. Well, small compared to Cretan measures but about a treble here in the UK.

Bored with the sun shine, torrential rain, sound and light show, that'll make the grass grow

We had just enough misty drizzle to make the windscreen wipers do a quick flip this morning but by 12:30 it was scorchio (for the UK) - 25°C in the shade. Must remember to remove all plants from the conservatory before they bake!

Patchy Thick fog travelling down to Kent this morning, at around 5am, but it wasn't long before it hit 20's

WCMUT - new handwash in the toilets. Smells like cola bottles.

WCMUT: The view from my new office, yes it is a bit cloudy but nothing like the big smoke used to be ;) Birds are singing, Elephants trumpet, the Lions roar, Skype and GoToMeeting are working. A wonderful day, just need to pop out for some Krispy Kreme ...

So, what happened on Homes Under the Hammer today? :D

Don't know, was on a call with the Aussies. Very inconsiderate of them to stay late and mess up my TV programming. Similarly tonight a call with the US is messing up my dinner time, and then there is a organisation wide review between 22-24. Love the flexibility though!

Blimey, there's something I've not heard in a long time, a pick up driving slowly down the road, with a loud speaker blaring
"Any old iron"!

you mean casing the joints looking for iron gates to nick in the dead of night in a few days time ?? That's the usual thing that happens around here.
