Always a pleasureYuk. Thanks for that.
b****rThat is more than can be said for the person hit by the train.
And no surprise really it still didn't work tonight.Getting to the Amazon locker to collect my new PSU only to have it fail to open due to 'A technical fault has happened' Amazon's Customer Services response being 'Try it again within 24 hours', obviously time will fix a broken lock. Presumably what she meant was someone might fix it tomorrow.

Stupid doesn't even begin to cover it does it?how bloody stupid and a waste of money
Getting scan results from the Doctor, seems that as the lump I have is probably not serious, although a tad painful, despite what they guy that scanned it said about removal and tests under local
anaesetic the NHS would consider it cosmetic and they don't fund it, seems implants aren't cosmetic WTF
So I now have to go to physio to be referred to an orthopedic specialist to have the op, so Ican have full movement back :banghead:

Not trying to teach you to suck eggs, but have you double checked the tyre pressures? No cars that I've owned are as sensitive to the correct pressure as the bmws that I've owned.Having spent lots sorting out worn out suspension on the z3 it still handles like crap. Wish I'd bought a boxster.. Maybe.
I had a walker delivered on Monday but it was the wrong one. They said I should give it a try whilst a replacement was being sorted and, if I didn't get on with it, they'd come and collect it.
Phoned them today to ask them to come and collect it only to be told they don't collect items that low in value! So now it's taking up space and it's down to me to find a way to get rid of it! :banghead:

The ridiculous thing is that they won't even pick it up when they deliver the replacement. My sister ended up with a couple of unsuitable Zimmer type frames and used them as a support for a fruit cage to keep the birds off.

They did actually offer to pick it up hen they deliver the replacement but there's no guarantee that the replacement will come from them as it's a special order.
Bin it, they probably will. After my dad died several years ago, I phoned up the hospital to come and collect his motorised bed, air mattress, and a motorised lifting frame. All had been brand new when it had been delivered several years earlier and the lifting frame had barely been used. The bloke who came and got it was fairly sure the lot would be thrown away.I had a walker delivered on Monday but it was the wrong one. I think the local Red Cross or St Johns will take such items.......just trying to recall organisation we turned to when SWMBO broke her ankle and we needed a few items like a bath seat. I think the crutches she had from Alnwick hospital ended up there as a thanks for their help.....either that or the Marie Curie charity shop???

There's a lot of this going on apparently. Speaking to other people, it's incredible how much stuff is discarded. So wasteful.
I assume this was the one you ordered?

Hoth!!!
FTFYExactly. Never gonna be able to wipe out those Digital Rebels now.![]()
Well good news from my perspective, it wasn't a seized caliper. Exactly what I thought, the crappy ebc red stuff brake pads.Wamt: back at the train station car park I realised I left my ticket in the car. Luckily found it and drove down to the machine. Walking back I noticed a flat rear tire. Grrr changed it and left the car park within the 15 minute exit time phew.
Then hit the brakes and the pedal went to the floor. I'm old enough to be trained to pump and the pressure came back. But boy the grinding noise wasn't pretty. At home I looked, and on my front right brake pad I've got a good thumb left. And on my passenger side it's all gone. Metal to the dischmm not impressed with ebc red stuff once again.
Yet another car to sort in the weekend.
