Of 2 offences which are technical and punishable by fines which they will be so they've got away with nothing.

Its a tricky one i feel, the actions they are been found guilty of should have carried a far larger punishment, but until the FA have the balls to implement said punishment and include it in the rules, before clubs commit the offence , then i feel clubs will continue to ignore the rules.

Perhaps but we're not even sure of which charges they were found guilty of yet. The latest rumours are that the fine will be around £50k which, I must admit, seems an extraordinarily small amount. As for the comment about London clubs, I'm pretty sure it was a coincidence that these high profile cases happened to involve teams from the capital. I can see o reason why other teams would be treated differently.

Still, I'm an extremely happy fan today and really looking forward to next season.

With the money QPR will have to spend, they just need to be careful that they buy the right kind of players to keep them up, which are not always the most expensive players on the market.

Totally agree. I think they've already done similar in respect of putting together a team to get them promoted. So many clubs in the past have tried buying "premiership" players to try and get out of the Championship and it nearly always fails. Warnock brought in players experienced at that level, like Sean Derry and Clint Hill and boy did it pay dividends!

There have been rumours like that for a long time. It's good to read this from Bhatia

Amit Bhatia has confirmed tonight (Saturday) that Neil Warnock will lead the R's into the Premier League.
Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk, the QPR Holdings Limited Vice-Chairman quashed any rumours linking Warnock with a move away from W12, commenting: "For as long as we are involved with QPR, Neil will be our Manager. He will be our leader.
"We hope for great success with Neil leading us forward.
"We look forward to continuing our relationship and partnership with him."

Hope there's some truth in it.

BTW, I'm pleased to see that The Potters are holding their own in the prem.

It's been a good few years for us Stoke fans.

You're not a fan of the Europa League are you.

I'm sure at one point they were considering giving a Champions League spot to the winners. Not sure I agree with that but it would certainly give it a purpose.

i mean, if you win it then its a little bit worth it, the extra revenue is good but playing on a thursday at 5pm in nowhere russia has to be the worst slot of the week. I think for any team trying to get back in the CL its merely am extra competition to distract from the main focus. It reminds me in some ways of the carling cup but the production quality of the matches is soooooo much worse as are 90% of the teams in it. I cant think of a single europa league match liverpool played this season that was a good game.

I didn't get the scores today so watched MOTD not knowing any results.

Gutted Spurs didn't get 3 points now I know that City lost to Everton.

I was at Goodison yesterday and City dominated most of the game and had some great chances. Moysie reved efc up and the fantastic Everton fans made it pretty hostile in the 2nd half and willed them on. I watched in disbelief as the 2nd smallest player on the pitch (after our own litle magician....Silva) scored a cracking header, beating undoubtedly our player of the season Super Vincent Kompany. I was gutted and living in Liverpool now, took some stick from the Evertonians! Went home, watched the Blackpool v Spurs game and felt a little calmer. Well done Blackpool.

It may be a strange game on Tuesday as it does look like Cup fever may be affecting one or two of our players. Also Bobby Manc rested a few yesterday and this had a negative effect in the end. Still looking forward to it massivly though.

Only 6 more sleeps till the Final :D. Not that I am getting much sleep. 42 years of watching City does that to you!

As an aside, has anyone noticed how little of the games MOTD actually shows. I watch City live every home game and some away. When I watch MOTD they actually don't even show some of the goal attempts / serious incidents. Its too bloody gimmicky and comfortable with Gary, Alan & Mark!

Chris :)

Quick question, Why is the FA Cup Final being held before the end of the season and on a day/weekend where there are Premier League fixtures being played? Is this purely logistical due to the Champions League Final?

Yeah, Wembley isn't owned by the FA, so when they asked to play the FA cup - that got told tough pooh as the champions league final was already booked.

You'd think that the FA Cup Final would be an automatic booking. Cant help think that it doesn't feel as special this year.

I read somewhere that the Champions League final ticket prices start at £80 and go up to £300, so presumably the money on offer to Wembley is a lot more than the domestic cup final.

I'm sure it is. Sad really but that's the way of the world I suppose.

Chris, I forgot to ask. You making the pilgrimage on Saturday?

So you're assuming guilt?

They were found guilty and its interesting that over the years big or rich or London clubs (West ham,QPR) have got away with a fine whereas smaller poorer provincial clubs (Luton,Boston,Swindon) have been absolutely mullered)

Or maybe I'm just an old cynic

PS nothing against QPR I just hate Warnock with a passion

They were found guilty of two of the offences which do not carry points deductions. As far as I'm aware, the offences the other clubs were found guilty of were are very different and more serious financial irregularities which carry far more serious punishments.

That said, the more money you have, the more you can spend on legal representation. Bit like life in general really.
