What's going on with QPR at the moment with the Alejandro Faurlin thing ?

The hearing is on Tuesday, result expected Friday. The Sun stirred it up the other day by claiming that the FA had pretty much made their decision and a 15 point deduction was possible.

I hope and pray that this article is correct but the truth is, we won't know for sure until Friday. The FA have been investigating this since September FFS!

3-0 to liverpool, and whilst i enjoy being above the spurs right now, i seriously would rather finish 6th than 5th. As much as it brings in money for the club to be in europa, i think it's just an unwanted burden to have to play in that league, unless you win it, it's pointless and just takes focus away from the other two more important competitions, the league and the fa cup

Sounds bonkers.

Fingers crossed nothing silly comes of it.

Great start from Arsenal.

No pressure, no mud, nice sunny day. Right up their street

classic hand of god moment from vidic there

Yep - lucky boy :gag:

Not sure I agree with Alan Smith's comments regarding United letting Arsenal have the ball to see if they break them down.

I just think United aren't in it at the moment.

Fingers crossed Fergie will get a bit of oomph into them during the interval.

first hand goes to utd but i think this will end 1-1 or 2-1 to manure, its typical of their season with some 85 minute plus goals

just put a few quid on a 1-1 and a 2-1 to utd result. the way i see it i win every way now unless it finishes 2-2

Ho hum.

Not happy with that performance.

So it all comes down to the 97th minute at Old Trafford next Sunday! :naughty:

Thing is ..... still doesn't look all that favourable for chelsea even if they do beat united next week the chances are it will only be by a goal. So they'll have the same points and +2 gd on them.

Look at the next fixtures for both teams

Utd - blackburn and blackpool
Chelsea - newcastle and everton

you would think there are more goals for united up for grabs than for chelsea given the teams left to play.

Blooming eck - you're looking into this in some detail

We're all going on a European tour!

Hope Cesc Fabregas enjoyed watching the game on TV.

Just shows that Arsenal can win big games without him, and sometimes I feel that he's the first one to drop his head when it starts going wrong.

Alex Song played well today, as did the rest of the midfield. For the first time in a few years I actually thought Arsenal outplayed United.

The big losers in this could be Blackpool, as Utd may need a win on the last day, and I really want to see Blackpool stay up.

Steve

Fabregas is a class act but you're right - he's the first to give up. It's obvious he doesn't want to be there any more. Robin van Persie on the other hand is giving everything and I think he's a great player.

No doubt, just look at the early part of the season when Nasri was playing in Cesc position, Arsenal were different class as was Nasri.

Dont get me wrong, Cesc is still world class and he will be for many years, playing for Barcelona.

Cant see Chelsea beating Man.U TBH, Chelsea used all their luck against spurs.

1. Man.U
2. Arsenal
3. Chelsea

A big congratulations to Norwich, fellow founder members of the Premier League, on their promotion. Cardiff seem to have bowed to the pressure and will contest the play offs once again and, given their current form and probable emotional state, may well suffer the same fate as in previous attempts. So I'm sticking by my prediction of Reading to win the play offs.

What a team, I'm a season ticket holder at Norwich! What a great season. Cardiff, Swansea and the rest all bottled it!

How has lasbury done. Been impressed the few times I have seen him for arsenal.

I'd love to see a Cardiff-Swansea playoff final at Wembley

Off to watch Spanish madness part two.....

Hoping for a decent Real performance tonight.

I think the UK Olympian Tom Daly would be right at home at the Nou Camp. Masherano just now was a disgrace. Come on Man U, get into them in the final!!!

Has he stopped rolling around yet?

Surprisingly he did get up and was able to continue. The way he was rolling suggested he may have had a fracture or 2.

Masherano just now was a disgrace.

I was embarrassed for him just watching on the telly

If Real's first goal stood then who knows what might have happened - that said Barca deserved to go through.

Finger's crossed we can finish Schalke off tomorrow. If we play like we did in the first leg we should be OK but if we play like we did against Arsenal it could be a nervy night. Just wish the pundits would stop making out that we're already in the final.

Barca will be hard to beat. When you only get 30% of the ball it's hard enough but they work so hard to get it back that it's difficult to create much during the course of the game. The other problem seems to be that for the 70% of the game when they have the ball - you're not allowed to tackle them :baby:.

Utd are through dinners, it will be a piece of cake tonight. Then hopefully barca will batter you in the final.

:D

You're all heart Joe :D

Saying we're already through - is that rare praise for a great 1st leg display or are you belittling what we still have to do in case we crash out tonight LOL

I'm not counting my chickens - concede first tonight and it could get twitchy depending on the team Fergie selects.

As for Barca - you'd have to fancy them in the final against any team at the moment for a variety of reasons. All we can do is try and get to the final and take it from there. We beat them a couple of years ago in the Semi's over two legs, Arsenal beat them this season. You've got to be in it to win it and hopefully we'll be there for a 3rd Final in 4 years.

Sorry Dinners.

Don't feel like you need to apologise Chris - I'd be just the same I guess if it were Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal or City :naughty:

Think that's about it

Oh - or Rangers or Celtic.

edit.

Or Leeds
