Thanks Dominic. It certainly was gloomy!!!!!! I’m a big fan of mono shots.I do like the b&w photos, they show the gloom of a rainy day in Britain.
Thanks so much Wayne for the nice commentShelter from the rain, brilliant. I had a right walk around in that picture.!
Cheers Allan. Indeed it was very gloomy!! Perfect for mono shots!Your Chosen shot is excellent nice symmetry and very gloomy
Cheers Dave. It was a toss up between the two mono’s. Nearly went with that one.Nice trio Simon. No2 floats my boat![]()
Thanks Bill. I’m going to have to google that!I like your chosen shot a lot Simon, I think that I'd be going back and doing a "Pep Ventosa" treatment on it...![]()

Good set Simon, #2 for me I think. Like the framing, maybe would have edited out the fella and bin on the RHS
Thank you Pete!A nice set Simon and the bandstand just shouts Rainy Day.
Thanks Alan.Nothing beats a rainy day by the seaside !

Thanks for your kind words Simon. Second one almost made it, but I faltered at the last minuteAll great shots as always, I'm drawn more to the second one but only because of the umbrellas making it more "rainy", well done!![]()
I think it was the symmetry and framing tech that swayed it for me.

Looking Through 2 by Simon Hiscocks, on FlickrCheers Paul! Thanks for looking as always.I see no ships!
They both work well for the theme.
Thanks Jak.Good spot with the first image![]()

Thanks Tim. Yes, the first was deliberate, the second more of an afterthought as I ran to catch up with Mrs H!I wold tend to prefer the second image, as it has more to it, but I can see (I assume) why you've gone with the first one, as the exposure is better on your subject.
Thanks Keith! Both good for the theme, doubt if the pirate can see much though![]()
Thanks Dave!Yeppity yep - those work!
Thank you (as always) Bill for looking and commentingGood shots Simon. I think that you chose the right one for the theme.
Thanks Dominic,Good shot. It's Wales and it's not raining, a rare thing indeed.
