Simon's 52 for 2025

Week 35 - Snapper's Choice and Tech Panorama

Running behind on Tech and as usual struggling to find time for specific photo opportunities (just been too busy), so this iPhone panorama snapshot of Penarth Pier will hopefully tick a couple of boxes.

Going to have to seriously consider whether I can do this challenge next year. Too many rushed efforts.

Works well that Simon.

Week 37 - Emotion

Two offerings for this - the first is a genuine "this week" photo and I suppose technically should be the offered one, but the second, and rather cheekily the one I've chosen, was actually taken a couple of weeks ago at my nephew's wedding, as I think it rather neatly captures a range of emotions, and as I was prepping the Grumpy shot I thought this was a better choice.
The dinosaurs are a long story - the wedding was somewhat unconventional, but a fabulous day was had by all.
Spot the original Severn Bridge!

Shot 2 is very nice but as you say - No1 is in the correct week so that gets my vote :)

Grumpy gets the vote- rules :) but dinosaurs at the wedding is a first for me. Nice wedding shot though(y)

Week 38 - Favourite Place(s)

Disclaimer: This isn't my favourite place (with the best will in the world I'm not going to be able to get down to westernmost Pembrokeshire or Corfu this week ), but it is a favourite and regular place for a walk near home.

A pilot cutter leaves Barry harbour, (bound for Swansea according to my Marine Traffic app) taken from Jackson's Bay on Barry Island, with the coastal village of Sully behind.
The tidal causeway to Sully island (far right) is clearly visible as the tide is way out - the island is cut off twice a day when the big Bristol Channel tides come in (today's tide is a modest 10.1 metres, but at extremes around here can get up to 14 metres. Beyond the gap over the causeway in the far distance are the hills around Lulsgate Bottom close to Bristol airport.

Lovely spot :)

Nice shot and great info
Brought back some memories :), many years ago my work commute was from Darwin Harbour (Australia) across to Cox peninsula accompanied by dolphins most mornings

Thanks Keith. That sounds like a pretty cool commute!

Week 39 - Eyes

Quicker and dirtier than usual as I've just got back from a week's golfing trip in Portugal and I haven't the time or energy to sort something else left in the time available this week.

As I've been away playing golf, this seems quote apposite.

Didn't expect to see a golf ball this week, "1 bandit" well spotted :)

Nice :)

I know a few who should be using a ball with that Logo.

Great idea

Certainly meets the theme, so well spotted.
I am sure your Mojo will return.
