Thanks DavidCertainly meets the theme, so well spotted.
I am sure your Mojo will return.
Thanks PaulThat works - it looks good!
Cheers Kell. I’ll have a play around with the image. Some weeks are easier than others to get motivated.
If you were lacking motivation when it was taken, is there something you could do with the PP?
Heavy vignette? Add grain and crunch the blacks? Push the colour saturation? Selective colour on the heavy one?
Cheers Wayne.Fantastic shot and colours there Simon,
Try making a small print see how awesome it looks, I think that is why we take photos, right?
Thanks Alan. Much appreciated.Might be quick & dirty in your book but I thought it was effective and eye catching. I love this time of year for all the different squash and pumpkin varieties.
The second version has just revealed itself, much more effective
Cheers Keith. Still a week behind ! And a tech theme adrift.Good selection of heavy stuff there, agree with Kell - some weeks are a bit of a downer but its Thursday tomorrow![]()
Cheers Bill! That's one big Jack-O, Simon!
Thanks AllanI’m having the same problem as you regarding inspiration but I thing the shot of the pumpkins works well for the theme.

Thanks Kell - I might try that crop.I do like your chosen shot - I think I'd have been tempted to try a long, thin crop. May or may not add soemthjing to it.
Also a fan of shots looking in to places from the outside - especially when there's an obvious change in the quality/colour of light. So I do also like the Cafe shot.

Nightime pier 2 thin crop by Simon Hiscocks, on FlickrI like it - how are you feeling about it?
Nice shots particularly like the pier shot and the cafe shot reminds me of Hopper’s well known nighthawks painting. Your exposures are all good - was that bracketing or just experience ?

Thank you Keith!Nice set Simon, the pier shot for me as well and like the processed Lidl shot

Yep, cheers Keith. Don’t like getting behind……Nice one, all caught up
Chers Kell! Much appreciated.Your chosen shot is great.
Though I like the car just for being left of field.
