Not a dog owner myself in fact Mrs. rpn is scared $hi7 of them having been attacked by a dog in her younger days. I came across a couple of dog walkers yesterday and got permission from them to snap a few shots of their pets.

The owner has warned me that this one is not very friendly so I kept a good distance from him and he does look quite fearsome!

Nice pooches - well the second one anyway - the first does look a little fearsome - giving you the eyes

A very cute second pic, and think your chosen shot is maybe better composed. I think he decided you'd be keeping your distance!

Good to get your chosen shot at eye/teeth level:), think I would want a longer lens for him,

Two friendly owners who are happy to talk about their pets. I'm pleased that I came across them as I was struggling for ideas.

Two lovely dog portraits Stan. I do like the pov of the Labrador pic.

Great photos. The signs work well, the horizontal one is really clever as it very much looks like a vertical image but totally works. Beautiful flower shot and the dog photos are great!!

Two great shots Stan, it's number 2 that really does it for me. The person in the background adds some great depth and interest.

Nice shot Stan. There are definitely subjects that seem better suited to B&W and this is one of them.

Thanks, Kell. Can't agree more about subjects and B&W conversion.

Ah... School days ;)

Cheers, Tim. Showing age there! ;)

Lovely broken stuffs Stan :)

Really nice image Stan, the processing is excellent

Lovely texture!

I think you could have gone in tighter, but as it is, very nice.

Looks very nice

Cheers, Keith.

Looks delicious Stan.

Thanks, Pete. It has Rosemary, and I'm not too keen on the taste.

Lovely texture!

I think you could have gone in tighter, but as it is, very nice.

Thanks, Paul. The shot was taken with an old Fujifilm X-T2 and 35mm lens. It's already quite heavily cropped and any more would lose the texture details.

MMMmmmmmm nice shot of the yummy stuffs!
