Cheers, Dave. These multis were built in the 70s when I was a graduate Civil Engineer and have since been completely upgraded and refurbished a few years ago so should be watertight.

Thanks, Dave. I agree that the lighthouse is a more interesting subject. Because the rig is berthed beyond and to the right of the lighthouse and since I'm in the area, it's rude not to snap a picture of it.

Thanks, Simon. It's a mobile drilling rig for offshore oil and gas exploration. The vertical trusses are support legs. When in location, they are retracted/jacked down to the seabed. Hence, the platform is known as Jack-Up.
