Nice shot Stan, but I think that your second image is a stronger one. The leading lines of the stones and the snow leads the eye through the image.

And a very effective combination. Well spotted.

My eye was drawn, not to the lava lamp (good though that is), but to the Kodak tag. Their trademark department would probably be quietly pleased at the brand reach, and then instruct the lawyers to send a cease and desist letter.

Well spotted, Paul. It would be interesting to hear and read about it if Kodak managed to track down the artist/vandal/painter! :)

An interesting bit of art Stan.

An interesting bit of art Stan.

Cheers, Dave. Is it art or graffiti/vandalism?

I quite like how street art changes frequently. Though in this case it's a shame that the very good painting is partially covered in tags - which are fine on their own, but covering other artist's work, less so.

That's a really nice bit of graffiti captured well.

Thanks, Tim. Can't agree with you more. I have seen some nice street artwork spoiled by graffiti vandalism.

That's a really nice bit of graffiti captured well.

Thank you, Shug

Nice, I really like the way you can see the history through the different layers although as mentioned above it’s a shame the better piece has now been partially obscured.

Nicely framed Stan and yes, a shame about the tags.

Cheers, Pete. It's acceptable as long as it was done tastefully rather than just pure vandalism.

Thanks, James. Yes you can spot the different layers of murals/graffit. I'm sure the next artist/vandal will be along soon to add his/her piece of work/tags.

Nice easy shot Stan. Did you even get dressed? :p

Cheers, Dave. I'm an early raiser even now that I'm retired.

Thanks, Wayne. Quiet and fresh morning air, my kind of walking condition too.

Lovely morning nicely captured. Nice shot.

Thanks, Simon. I think the fresh and clean morning air helps and makes the branches stand out against the cloudless sky

Very good with the bands of colour and the branches. Super image.

Cheers, Bob.

Thanks, Keith.

I am slightly quicker off the mark this week than normal. I want to capture this shot with some colours in the sky and simultaneously during the rush hour with heavy traffic light trails. Nikon 16-35mm f/4.0G at 24mm

Nice. It makes a change to see some detail in the surroundings with a light trail shot. Very effective.

Thank you, James. That's my thought too and one of the reasons to get the shot in quickly is that the daylight is getting longer by the day.
