I love Croutons crispy and red hot floating in my soup, crusty bread to dip in Yummy

Id be interested to see what smoked mackerel stir fry looks like, cant quite imagine it myself mind you Im not a great fish lover

Dave, its in this months BBC Good Food Magazine - Indonesian Stir Fry with Mackerel.
I've had a look at the website but its not on there. It was nice and spicy, and the mackerel was simply flaked over the top at the end, so could be substituted for pretty much anything, chopped bacon perhaps.

There you go dinner tonight.

chicke tikka pitta pockets tomorrow with all the bits and bobs.

At Oggy towers there are the basic food groups such as alcohol, cake and chocolate. We also have a seasonally variable one. In GMT (October to March) it is curry (a decent home made one or the occasional takeaway) and the rest of the year we barbeque. I like to get a good piece of meat from a local butcher and season rather than marinade it (too many marinades burn) but tonight we had a well known orange supermarket's organic burgers. These are really exceptionally good and I find myself with the dilemma of not wanting to put horseradish or mustard on them.

(PS I do like the way they quote the nutritional stats for 100gms of English mustard. 100gms - :cuckoo:)

Roast dinner - 'nuff said :D

Homemade burgers yesterday, homemade shepherds pie today mmmmmm ..

Roast Beef (home done cow :D) all the trimmings and then Sticky Toffee pudding with Vanilla and toffee ice cream, strawberries, raspberries if wanted also.

I'm cooking Tuesday now as well :)

Kids want sausage and mash so thinking to make it a little interesting I will cook the sausages in a red wine and chopped onion "sauce"

Chop up some herbs (undecided) for the potatoes whilst they cook and then mash mash mash away :)
