It's good to see the passion he has for the club rather than just owning a football club for the kudos.Small matter of a football match at the Racecourse this evening.....amazing how much capacity for tears one man has,,,,(of joy)
If you bake fruity cakes, chop some marzipan up into raisin sized chunks and add them to the recipe with the fruit... Goes some way to explaining my weight!!!
WCMUT,
Proud dad moment. So I'm playing Third Eye, by Tool, my favourite band for the last 100 years. I say to my 11 year old daughter, this is a good song. She goes "yeah Dad, Third Eye, it's epic, heard it tons".
Not a song for sensitive ears but she's growing up fast, so it seems.
My son has been a crazy obsessed Liverpool FC fan for the last year or so since getting into football properly and I'm thrilled that it's not Rangers or Celtic.
Och, ye're haverin' mon. Yon green 'n blue laddies are awd croanies. They jus' like a wee friendly game o' fitba'!The rivalry is fierce between those 2 for sure (Rangers, Celtic).

Indeed, that was how it was intendedNot sure if you said it in a Haribo ad voice, but that's how I heard it!
Always a good feeling when you find something that helps.... so will carry on using this from now on.
Is it a Paddy Hopkirk one?WCMUT was finding my 10 litre petrol can. Not something I've used for a couple of years but it being bright red helped me spot it in the garage.
Do you mean the Explosafe? We carried one of those in the boot of various cars for many years. Is it a Paddy Hopkirk one?![]()
It might have been. It was bright red metal unlike most plastic onesDo you mean the Explosafe? We carried one of those in the boot of various cars for many years.
If it had the yellow band around the centre join, then it might well have been. Ours came with the "chequered flag" sticker on the side, which mysteriously disappeared one Sunday morning, only to reappear in our daughter's bedroom!... but my husband said it was the way I called it my Paddy Hopkirk can, rather than my petrol can![]()
It might have been. It was bright red metal unlike most plastic onesMine was stolen from the boot of my mini along with my wheel wrench and spare wheel (with a new tyre on!). I was so upset at the time, although they used the wrench to steal my neighbour's wheels off his Capri which put things into perspective. We laugh about it now, but my husband said it was the way I called it my Paddy Hopkirk can, rather than my petrol can

New bike - exciting! No, it's a 10 litre (1/2 height) Jerry can. Used to use 20 litre ones when I had an old Diesel Landy with an iffy fuel gauge.
Only bothering with a can because the closest fuel station to the place Mrs Nod's bike is coming from doesn't have Super Unleaded at the moment and I'm not sure how far the thing will go on what it'll be supplied with.
Of coursebut there's space for hers!!!
