Basically, literally, I personally, absolutely, irregardless, like, actually, of instead of have.
Then of course there's the phrases that make you sound completely stupid and the regulars I hear are; 'The proof is in the pudding', 'I could care less', 'baited breath', 'on tender hooks', 'waiting on someone' etc. Most of these coming from American rubbish TV, so our youngsters start repeating them.

I have that from time to time. Alway tricky to eject them except for blue tits which usually find a perch and survey the problem. So if I open a nearby door or window they get themselves out!
I‘ve had a lot (from woodpigeon downwards) crash into the windows, all flew off! I have 2 ‘opposing’ windows which I suppose they see as a flight path. I’ve always suspected they could have been avoiding the very active sparrow hawk and so possibly not cgoing very fast as having just taken off.We have had over the years a few, mainly Blue Tits, crash very hard on the outside of the windows. IIRC all bar one died but the very first one I put in a small box (old ice cream container) with a jam lid of water and covered it with a cloth. I rang the RSPCA who advised to wait a few hours and then go outside and uncover it. Well, the few hours was overnight......once uncovered we were delighted to see it immediately take off and fly away
As for yesterday's Sparrow, when I said the room corner well this was on the floor in tightish space.....not easy to attempt to reach down and hold it. We also left the lights turned down which did not help to ID adult female or Juvenile.
I get "dust Angels" on my (single) kitchen window, they see the reflection of the sky and try to climb through it.
