I was advised to use Briggs & Stratton fuel additive for our lawn mower when using E10. It claims to keep the fuel fresh for up to 3 years & protect against the effects of ethanol in the fuel. So far, after several years no problems with the mower engine.Be aware of the effects of keeping E10 petrol for a long time (over a couple of months), especially in metal cans. Be aware of it's effect on rubber parts (seals etc as well as pipes) too. If you do go down the petrol route, I'd only use Super Unleaded which tends to be labelled as E5 but often contains no ethanol. (Mrs Nod's MX-5 doesn't like E10 at all - she put a tenner in when she discovered that our normal Sainsbury's didn't have Super [allegedly a cracked tank - been "unavailable" for several months] and noticed the difference even with her light-footedness and in town. Topping up with Super at a different fuel station improved things and the next tankful was pure Super.)
Yeah that would annoy me too.YaY! I cut the lawns for the 2nd time this year.
Maybe not a post in the general spirit butYeah that would annoy me too.![]()

Re above post. Today, the UPS delivery chap said the person I spoke to yesterday could be located anywhere in the world.
Today, yet another call from someone who was heavily accented to the point I had to ask him to repeat his questions. It was just to arrange physio for my shoulder through privatre health care..a thirty week wait here in Gloucestrer for thne NHS. This chap wasn't Asian, though. I'm not sure the one from UPS was either. A strange accent. Today this chap had a heavy 'R' roll. It's a stupid policy especially when it's something important like a health issue and invariably causes frustration which I experienced. On the more positive side I spoke to a Spanish lady recently and she had a lovely accent and was easy to understand. Globalisation is good but I'm havinvg staff located around the world as UPS do to save money is not the way to do things unless they have very good english. Of course they may be calling from the UK and happen to be a foreign national I think it's why some insurance companies brought their customer care service back to the UK. Fine unless you get someone from Glasgow as I did once. The worst was a call I made to my car insurance company and I got a lady from India. I had to terminate the call..with an apology of course.
It's Redhead day and nobody has given me a hug

I've not tried Calypso I'll give that a go next, thanksSince discovering P20 (which I've now abandoned due to its clothes staining prowess) and then Calypso factor 30 "Once-a-day", I haven't been sunburnt. Used to burn in March at the latest but these days, I can be out in full (Devon!) Sun for 3 hours + and even Cretan for 2 or so.
CheersI get it from Amazon now but used to get it from Wilko.
