Oh, is that what the sand is for? I'd always assumed it was there in case you were travelling with a cat and it got caught short. The person who dumped a load of diesel on the ground at the pump, but clearly couldn't be arsed to cover it with the sand that is RIGHT THERE in the bucket.
Now my trainers stink of it. As does the car.
WAMT and every day this week: still having this stupid cold. It should be long gone but the damn thing isn't shifting.
It hit me on Wednesday been using first defence since then and fingers cross it's changing from terminal manflue to a miracle recovery. Early night again for me.
It's proven effective to me this week. I'm fine already.First defence the squirty thing?
If the cold virus has already taken hold you're wasting the product.
It's proven effective at that point at the onset when you get the tingly nose/sinus though.
You are not having very much luck with cars are you? Try a bike instead?another week another appointment to get our Mercedes GL windscreen swapped out. It snapped last week at the final stage of install.
I hope they hurry up, or your'll start to feel rather deflated, again if it drags on, no doubtI'm feeling rather tyredagain.
Luckily they got a grip, and got the wheels turning. Back home...Missed a call from Auto Windscreens, the next date for our Mercedes windscreen is 17th of March...Are they having a laugh?I hope they hurry up, or your'll start to feel rather deflated, again if it drags on, no doubt![]()
On a rim and a prayer no doubtLuckily they got a grip, and got the wheels turning. Back home...
WTF, do they make them to order of something?the next date for our Mercedes windscreen is 17th of March...Are they having a laugh?
went to check, turned on ignition and needle went across to full as is should,Excluded from discussion
Say's more about the people doing the exclusion than is does me
If it's the EU discussions, you're not excluded at all. You can choose to participate at any time as I understand it.
You were one of the members calling for such a section, to get rid of these threads from OOF, were you not Keith?
You can't have it both ways.
Excluded from discussion![]()
Actually no I wasn't
I argued the opposite that there should not be a separate section and that those who are often found to be the ones causing trouble in those types of threads should be banned from them and then if that still does not work just ban the discussion of such topics full stop
Yes I do have the choice to go into the hot topics section but that's not the point is it? I do not wish to be a part of that section for the reasons I have given before
So yes I have been excluded from discussion by the very moving of that particular thread to that section of the forum
You haven't been excluded, you've excluded yourself.
Keith, for the last time!
Hot Topics is NOT a section for people to be more argumentative that in OOF
Hot Topics is NOT a section where people are allowed to cause trouble or insult eachother
Hot Topics IS a section for the discussion of more serious subjects as a way of separating them from the more fun/light hearted subjects in OOF.
There are a number of threads going in there, including on about the EU which has been going for a few days, and there have been no more issues in there than in OOF of late, maybe even less. So, who do you think is going to post in the thread in Hot Topics who wouldn't post exactly the same thing in the thread if it was in OOF? As I've said until I'm blue in the face, the same rules of forum decency apply in Hot Topics as everywhere else in the forum. Its NOT the bear pit you seem to think it is.
I can't see what ever replies you may have written in that EU thread
It is pretty evident I am not the only person, by a long shot, who thinks the same way with regards to the hot topic section
I will leave this here as I have no wish to get into some aggressive discussion with you
Funnily...I was thinking exactly that...including on about the EU which has been going for a few days, and there have been no more issues in there than in OOF of late, maybe even less.
Sitting in crawling traffic for 40 minutes and getting to the end of it to find there was nothing. No accident, broken down vehicle, police car, bridge jumper, escaped horse etc. Nothing. No reason whatsoever. Grr.
high speed police crash.
Yeah but they do excel at thatyet a major route closed
