TP 52'ers Class of 2016 Discussion thread Week 52 we made it! time to celebrate /( celebrations)

Just cast a critical eye over my spreadsheet ... all present and correct. (y) but it's reminded me I'm two reshoots behind. :cautious:
 
Well... I'm off to Portugal on Business tomorrow, alarm set for 2:30 am so am now off, Back on Sunday evening, I hope to be able to get on for the theme, but no camera coming with me :( but it does look like it will be Sunny :)

Phew...

Accounts done. Client work caught up on. Prospective clients replied to. Shame none of it's photography, but it pays the bills (mostly MPB bills at the moment, it seems ;) )

I want to have a play with some focus stacking but I appear to have duff drivers installed on my laptop for the D750... need to see if I can get that fixed. Grrrrr.

So on to week 27, no one as yet has been very Active(ity) in making my life hell with the lack of theme announcement this week.
Is everyone OK out there in the TP 52'ers land? :D

Help ! I am away for the next 12 days in Tenerife, got a problem. How do I get the iPad to copy the BBCode from Flickr ?
Got some pics to upload for last week and this ? Or is there another way ?

You need to go to the Flickr website, not the app. You can, through some effort get a code on the site (needs to be the desktop site at that).
 
Keep trying that Ian, only lets me copy the code shown on the screen in the box, it misses the last few letters etc. I get Copy, Define or Share. No select all ?

You must be on the mobile site, you need to try navigate to the main site. I find you need to follow a very specific route as one wrong click lands you on the mobile site by default. It's a royal pain in the ass tbh.

Chris I find its best just to save the photo from Flickr to my iPad then select it in photos and put it on the thread using the 'upload file' box bottom right.

If TP isn't good for anything else, it's bloomin' genius for advice like this. I may just have saved you nearly two weeks of grief and frustration...

Having gone through something similar once before, there's a very easy solution. You need to get copies of your destination from the brochures etc as well as your tickets, passports and all other pertinent documentation and pop them in an envelope. I've just PM'ed you my address and if you send it all to me, I can guarantee you won't have to endure 12 days of sunshine and supposed "relaxation" and instead you'll be free to post on here just as normal.

I realise I'm taking a big hit for the team, but that's what these sorts of communities are for. You can thank me when I get back, covered in aftersun.

Thanks Susie I never thought of that, I might try this with my active post later today, there is a fun packed morning ahead with pool fitness activities, just up my street (not)
 
I'm more than 8 weeks behind and I don't see myself getting much time over the coming weeks. So unfortunately I'm going to have to provisionally bow out. I will try and see if I can get photos done for the themes but I can't promise I will manage it. Disappointed, but life is getting in the way. :mad:

Do the themes you want to, you don't have to catch up or do all the weeks :thumbs:
