The TP Weight Loss thread 2008

Gread idea for a thread!

In about the last 2 years I went from
  • 11 stone (154 lb, 70kg) to
  • 15 stone (210 lb, 95kg) by eating out every day. Started dieting a month ago using 'cheat to loose' and I'm now down to
  • 14 stone 4 lb (200 lb, 91 kg)

Want to lose about another 10 lb which would give me a BMI of 22 at my height of 6' 6" (198cm).
 
Start Weight: 15st 13lb

Current Weight: 14st 12lb

Current Weight Loss: 01st 01lb

Current charity pot £19

5lbs more and I'll be delighted :D...back on the bike most evenings, now, and haven't felt this good and healthy in ages :)
 
A new low! 11st 5 3/4 lb, another 1 lb off, just over 9 lb down now! :D Has taken 6 months, but at least it is still going down! :woot:

I'm still at it, Iv even posted a pic in my 365 where im lacking a shirt. I feel fantastic, went running in the downpour this morning, feel like I could stop a bus with my knuckles!

Not weighed myself since last monday though(2 weeks), and i hadnt lost any then. Hoping that this weeks increased gusto will have a nice suprise for me when i step on the scales tomorrow!!!!

Cheers dude, Its worth it mate, believe me, your confidence will go through the roof when it starts to drop. I'v been and weighed myself this morning, and i weighed in at 15st dead, with wet jeans on. I normally weigh myself in thin shorts and a T, so im more than happy!! The running trainers are going france with me!!!
 
As I feared, I have added 6 1bs in 9 days:eek:

Off out on the bike now on the hilliest route I know, a 10 mile run.

Back down to normal weight now, will have to be careful next time we go to the Cotswolds and keep off the clotted cream teas :naughty:

:woot: 5lbs lost. Just been to Weightwatchers meeting and have lost 5lbs after my first week. Well chuffed. Was aiming for 3lbs at the most. Am aiming to lost 2lbs this week.

I'm doing the Core Plan rather than the POints as I can't sit there and weigh out my food and work out points etc etc so with the Core Plan, I have to be disciplined in knowing when I'm satisfied - not full. But, I think the main thing is, I've gone from having more than 10 pints of cider a week, a few glasses of wine a week and 2 packets of crisps a day to having no cider at all, no crisps at all and the odd glass of wine when I've earnt it :D

Also been to the pool today and did my 30 minute swim. Will go tomorrow for 30mins (as I didn't go yesterday) and then Thursday for Aqua Aerobics. Got to take it easy to be careful of my leg though cos if I damage it more, I'll head back into the vicious cycle of not doing anything, hitting the cider again and back the weight will come.
 
im doing aqua aerobics next week, any good?

i seriously need to loose some weight, way over what i should be:D
 
Cos I can't do anything high impact on my hip or leg, it's perfect for me. It's bloody hard work and I ached the next morning but I thoroughly recommend it. We had to jog from one end of the pool to the other which is very hard especially as the first lot are jogging the other way to you. Tis a lot of fun though and I can't wait for Thursday :D
 
any obvious weightloss after the first few times? ive got very toned legs already, i need to sort out the stomach.

Got weighed this morning at the doctors and am now officially overweight (BMI 29.85) at 15st 5lbs.
Considering I was morbidly obese (BMI 50.62) and 25st 13lbs on December 31st 2007 I am really chuffed. Just got to lose the last 2.5st now!
 
Not trying to lose weight but noticed theres a couple of odd bodybuilders In here, anyone know their power lifting stuff? Just looking for advice.

And that's with heavy weekend and no swimming or aquacise for a week. Hopefully my scald on my leg will be healed so I can start again next week.:woot:

Another 1.5lbs off tonight. And I started swimming again today, burn seems to have healed alright and only stung slightly.

Used my new acquired kickboard and did quite a bit with just arms and then just legs, going to regret it in the morning as I'm aching already.

So.....

Poop - obviously had far too much wine at the weekend and shouldn't have had bread. 1lb on :(

Woop woop - back on track again - 3lbs lost tonight :D

Cut out bread completely - have been good with the eating malarky but not so good with the cider. Although I have been drinking Bulmers Light which works out about 150cal per pint :lol:

Now have bet with husband that I can lose another 4 stone in 32 weeks ( 1 stone per 8 weeks) - if I do it, he gives me £50, if I dont' I have to do his ironing for 32 weeks. mmmmmmm:thinking::thinking: s omething tells me I've been stitched up :lol:

I'm not 'trying' per se.....Just trying to cut down a little, change some eating 'habits'..

I'm 3lb down on the other week, so I'm happy with that.

Congrats to everyone else though!
 
I managed to drop to around 76/77 Kg :)

Holding pretty constant around there at the mo.

I weighed in on the 1st feb and lost NOTHING
thankfully on the friday 8th weigh in I had lost 2lb so now i'm 17st8lb :thumbs:

Well, I'm now officically under my target weight!

I'm now weighing in at a trim 14st 5lbs!!!

So. to summarise

Start weight 21st 6lbs
Weight today 14st 5lbs
total loss 7st 1lbs

New Target weight: 14st dead!!!
