I could have bought a nice lens with that money  :exit:

Have to say impressive effort by all here :)

I'm just thinking of Kelly ( KELACK), it is soooo hard to keep a diet going on holiday, so I have been sending positive thoughts! Go Kelly, keep up the good work!

or you could just have a 'blip' and make up for it when you get home! :D

Hope you are having fun......... weather still rubbish here :(

Room for a noob in this thread?
I am starting back at the gym tonight. I have the incentive of slimming and shaping up ready for my wedding on Aug 22nd 09.

Always room for a noob! :welcome:

and good luck!!!!!!

Thanks LadyBird,

Well, I started back at the gym last night. Did an hour and a half, feeling much better for it already. Its amazing how good you feel when the bloods pumping.

The trick this time is that I am training with one of my ushers so we are both pushing each other and making sure we go.

Ill keep you updated on my progress!

I don't quite know of British's Measures of weight and mass, however these pictures speak for themselves ;)
1st pict - start
2nd - 2 weeks later
3rd - 1 month later
4th - 1.5 month later
5th - 2 month later
6th - 3 month later
From the start to 2 month' point I've lost about 45 lb and I was eating less fat and carbohydrates and more proteins. My burning calories were bigger than acquiring ones.
I'm also going to gym.

From 2month point to 3 month point I was continuing to support food balance, but my burning calories were less than acquiring ones.

Please, don't hit me hard ;)
Yours elektro

Hit you? more like hit on you!

You have done well, but you look pretty good in all of those! :D :D :D

Finally lost all the weight I put on during my break from my diet. It has taken me four weeks to lose what I put on in three weeks.

Now 14st 11lbs, total weight loss to date 11st 2lbs. Now the lightest I have been since the 1970s

Just over 4 weeks to go before I start weening myself back onto food again.

~Dunno if anybody is interested, but im now down to 14st 1lb.

1lb from my new target.

according to the machine at the gym, i have another 11lb to lose. i reckon thats about right. Its good! iv started swimming this week, and i can already feel a difference in my upper body. Its only good!

The wife and I had our inductions at the local leisure pool and gym this morning. had a one hour session on the different types of equipment then swam 20 lengths of the pool (500mtrs) not a lot I know, but when you are only on about 500 calories a day you can't go too mad witht he exercise so 'slowly slowly catches monkey'

just got to get rid of the loose flabby skin now!

Probably sound weird to the guys who are trying to lose weight (and may I say some of you are doing a great job)

But i'm doing the opposite.

Trying to 'bulk' up at the moment, aiming for 11 stone.

Was 9 stone in July, currently hovvering at 10.5 stone and feel much better in myself :)

Just to let you know it can be done I was off the scales Christmas before last. In other words well over 23 1/2 stone (And I mean well over the needle hit the stop hard!!!). I ate for all the wrong reasons. Here is a very simple thing to stick to. Over than 3 meals a day, don't put it in your mouth. Also don't eat after 7pm.
Here is a before and after.

I am amazed at what you have achieved, how long has this taken you?

Started on New Years Eve last year, so been on (and off, I have had two three week breaks and one two week break) the diet for 10 months now. Current weight is 14st 5lbs so I only have about 1.5 stone to go. I would like to get below 13st which would give me a 13st loss in total.

i now visit the gym for an hour at least 3 times a week, and my health has improved dramatically.

Here are my before and getting there (taken a couple of weeks ago) pictures

(i'm still slow and steady, down to 10st 12, so 1st 3 1/4 lb lost so far!)

Gee there are some impressive losses, takes alot of effort, well done to all.

Funnily enough i am in the exact opersite state of mind in that i have put 10kg on in the last 2months the next 4kg i recon are going to be the hardest to gain.

Wow thats a really inspirational loss. Well done  !!!

i know this is a bit late! but i'm 11st2 atm, and am aiming for 91/2st, i'm hoping to lose a few inches off my hips before May...as i'm getting married!! shall weigh in agian in a week!

i was 148kg earlier in year managed to drop below 135 with diet and excerise but am now back to 140. I tend to fail on nights being a lone worker, its a sort of comfort zone chomping chocolate and crisps etc but having read the posts tonoght and looking at the pics, youve convinced me to knuckle down and get back on board. Well done everyone hope to be able to say the same as all of you in a few months time.

Well I'm now off my anti-depressants, and I've just started taking Sibutramine / Reductial (It's an appetite suppressant).

It's helping me control my eating. Starting to walk more where I can. Little and often.

Dropped a couple of pounds this week already :)

Weight today is 20st 11.5lb :)

YAYY to being off the anti-deps, i was on them for a years, and i'm finally off too!!

WHOOP WHOOP!!!

I'm 6' 2" :-(

Well this year has been a write off so far, building an extension for our disabled daughter took loads of spare time and left little for cycling except commuting to work so I am just still happy enough not to have put too much on.

From June 24th...

Start Weight: 15st 13lb

Current Weight: 14st 12lb

Current Weight Loss: 01st 01lb

Current charity pot £19

5lbs more and I'll be delighted :D...back on the bike most evenings, now, and haven't felt this good and healthy in ages :)

Well, what can I say...:D :D

Start Weight: 15st 13lb

Current Weight: 13st 12lb

Current Weight Loss: 02st 01lb

Current charity pot £33

It's worked rather well - smaller portion sizes at first, and lots more exercise too - but I've found now that my metabolism has changed, because I can eat pretty much anything and the weight is staying constant :D.

Oh, and having an extremely worthwhile cause for fittening up helps a lot too :) :D
