The TP52 - 2026 The Sign-Up and Chat Thread - Week 14 Snappers Choice

Hi Tim, is this challenge for pics taken in that particular week or can pics from your archives be entered?
The 'Challenge' is to get you taking pix that week.

For me I see little 'Challenge' in posting archive pix unless I absolutley have to for a one -off.

Thanks, that was my thinking too. Is it too late to join in? I have just took a shot in my back garden that sort of fits the theme if I'm not too late.

Never too late Jack, people join at various times through the year and either start from that week or post catch-ups to make the full year up. It's up to you.

Hi Jack,
As per @-Oy- & @lindsay the challenge is to get you out taking photos, so guidance is to post photos taken in the week, for weeks after the theme is announced.
Ideally posting in the 7 days after the theme is announced, but obviously catch ups are okay too.
Please have a read through the guidelines at:

I'm adding you to the scrolls, you're in now. :)

Cheers Tim, just posted my image for week 1, a rather rushed entry but hey ho.

I agree, it’s a big part of the fun. I posted something from my archive just a couple of times over the year - and it was always due to weather not playing ball. I’ll try harder this year!

Have a couple of ideas for this one local to me (walking distance) but as the paths here are still very icy they will have to wait till Monday.

@plloydie - the week one lines --- was that in london on the top of a building ? ps... you could have a feedback thread too for questions and comments...
Just ask in the individuals own thread, where they post their images?

Could be interesting. Could also easily be pretty bland. Let's see who does what :angelic:
I've taken a couple today and tried to include framing. I still don't really like taking images in public though, street is not my thing - hence I'm a macro guy as the bugs in the garden don't care lol.

Still time to grab some more.

As we've got some fairly new members and such this year, I'm trying to start with easier themes - but rest assured they are likely to become more obscure over time..

Fingers crossed the kids don't insist we go nowhere and do nothing this weekend so I can get a couple of shots in.

@UncleJoes Peter, is that you volunteering to participate in the 52? If so, well done and welcome, I'll add you to the list

Have you ever found Something Broken....?

I think all of us are expecting to have a Rainy Day in the next week or so...

...now what sort of shoehorn can someone invent for that?

I thought I would tempt fate but in a good way. Whenever I think, let alone say, I'm going to do some 'togging, it rains; this way, I'm being sort of counter-intuitive!

Well just looked at the BBC weather forecast and any of the next 7 days will suit this weeks theme, I suppose that's good
