Not afraid to admit it. Looking forward to spending some time away from the office with the Wife and the ankle biter. Watching some crap movies, over-eating, and falling asleep on the sofa to recover from too many sprouts etc etc etc.

Anyone else?

Christmas threads are acceptable now its December :D
Its the ones that start in August that are really annoying :p

I was going to start one on the 1St, suggesting it'd probably be a lonely thread.. But I couldn't decide if I was excited or not lol

Oh damn...quote correct person T might help!
Try again... Well we are watching Xmas films at dinner so getting there, maybe once Xmas tree etc is done it will :)

...been on the Christmas sherry too eh? :D

I went to work, as it was casual day and the company Christmas dinner, in my Christmas t-shirt but got loads of greif about it being to early!

Anyone else doing an advent calendar? I have one every year no matter what, always have.

This year's is a belter. :D So far the windows have revealed festive socks (sounds reasonable) a dog, a sheep and a zebra.
:thinking::LOL:

All you need is 3 wise men and you have the set!!

and before some devious mod looks at the edit..I called you the dirty biatch instead of Ruth
I don't see the problem TBH :D

really REALLY getting in the Xmas mood this year, a lot earlier and more excited than the past few years... why? because I have less money...

let me explain, we are financially not as well off this year, we are not poverty line poor but I cannot spend £100s here and £100s there like usual because we cannot afford... and it has made me rethink every little penny I spend which is making me appreciate Xmas more because I know it isn't going to drag on into Feb/March because of all the snacks and booze we have left over..

I know it sounds weird but it is making sense to me.

I don't remember anything in the title that says pick on T!:bat:

Have you never seen the images that @Ricardodaforce, posts of the "Nativity" ?
A Spanish Nativity scene is called a Belén, and usually involves someone taking a dump in the corner and such like :D

...sooooo...Christmas eh? Whats up with that?!!?!

Not sure if me and the missus are having one on the 25th, she has an operation on the 23rd of December for repairs to damaged arm ligaments. The surgeon said he will try key hole surgery, and try and get her out the same day. If the damage is more severe, then looking at being in over Xmas. So we will still have an Xmas, maybe just a later one :)

Yeah good luck to her John, I hope all goes smoothly

Amazing what they can do with minimal invasion these days.
Hope she gets her crimbo at home.
