The 'I dont give a damn what anyone else thinks, im really looking forward to Christmas...thread'

She was 3 in August, perfect age to enjoy Xmas, or for me to enjoy watching her excitement. Of course I don't wind her up...... Much :D

Oh I so bet you do....it's a man thing!!

You're right though it's a lovely age

Ok Ok i'll go listen... on your head be it if i find it annoying! :p

Edit: ok it wasn't so bad lol

Glad you enjoyed it!

BANG!
Poor rudolf

At least it wasn't one of santa's reindeer, just an advertising gimmick for Montgomery Ward. Besides, if santa want's meat for commercialmas dinner, reindeer's the only easy option.

Have just bought myself a new coat as a Christmas present to myself, I am having it delivered to my local store so I can try it on & if is doesn't fit well they can refund me there and then.

I had bought myself a Parker a few months ago as a treat but discovered in a torrential downpour at the beginning of the month that it wasn't exactly water proof

I've recently misplaced my favourite Parker pen, think it's in the motor somewhere, but between my stuff and the grand kids growing mountain in there it's posted missing. Maybe Santa will help me out
Talking of which, I downloaded a Santa app a few nights ago and set it to ring when she is here. It's brilliant fun watching her talk to him and the best naughty control ever :D

Going Xmas food shopping midday... If you never see me again you'll know I didn't make it out alive :D

Good luck, im going late tonight. There could be injuries.

I made it out alive!!!!

To be fair I think I timed it right, not busy at all.
But here is what's worse!....... My daughter wants to eat it all..how dare she! :D

:woot: Work is now officially over until 4th January.

Trees up and decorated, garland placed over the hearth and wreath on the door.
Christmas gifts bought, wrapped and distributed.
Food shopping and baking complete (except for fresh veg which I'll pick up early tomorrow)
Food hampers and home-made yummies for the family packed and delivered.

Time to sit back, put my feet up and let the Christmas season commence
Have a good one everybody!

Day off so last bit of food shopping for the fresh stuff later and then that's it. anything that I've forgotten stays in the shops.
Work tomorrow morning then 4 days off, you lot just can't do without post :p already had people ask how long we are stopping and looking horrified

I miss Christmas in England. This'll be my 9th in Australia - still doesn't feel remotely Christmasy.

I just got back from a walk along the beach, probably a bit chillier than over there but it's a great tool to get hyper grand daughter somewhere near tired so she sleeps tonight
Turns out she ran out of steam when we were on the way back to the car and I had to carry her, so granda will definitely sleep tonight, not sure about her though:LOL:

Apparently my daughter has got me a present, she says it's thoughtful and will make me cry..

But...if I don't cry she will beat me until I do!

Cheers daughter love you too :D

We've been out to the local social club this aft with the neighbours (kids n all) which has become a tradition. Tea & a few pints. of proper ale (y)
Turkey is in the oven (timer set to come on @ 6.30 am)

Merry Christmas everyone.

Good idea...good fruit source that lol :D

Now where does baileys fit in?

Coffee is derived from a bean so that's one of your 5 a day. Whiskey is distilled from a grain brew so is another. Add in some chocolate (another beany product) and you're 60% there...

Perfect...im happy with that, I'll continue to add it to my must have fruit and bean selection :D

I misclicked on Google yesterday and was hijacked to their Santa tracker. He was over Babylon at the time. Next thing I saw was him kneeling in front of a black robed figure with a long knife.

Waiting on my youngest to get back from his dad's soon then our Xmas day can start properly....
Seems he was up at 4am!! Am I going to get the knackered grumpy bit lol

I am on track everything in place, should be bang on time with everything. But there again, I am every year :)

Just remember folks

Better get shopping

Cool. We better leave the decorations up until then :)

Judging by how early some people put them up and how long for...that's not far wrong. :(
