Samyang 85mm 1.4 in Z mount on its way

Oh well, the Hasselblad I wanted was sold yesterday.:crying:

I'd like to but good condition Hasselblad equipment is getting hard to find theses days.
I would never have believed the price of the humble standard 80mm planar would have gone so high.
Plus, finding one that hasn't been beaten to death is basically impossible. Grrrrrrrrr!

I survived a full week of the Fuji refurbished store having stock of a lens I need want, sold out now so I am safe - until the next time ;)

My impatience got the better of me. Instead of going the simple (expensive route) of buying a universal L-Bracket for my 67 or waiting for the unicorn Kirk one to turn up on eBay, I found a 3D model online which I sent to a friend in china to be 3D printed in aluminium.

Let’s see how the prototype turns out!

Seems I bought yet another camera, it's not often you find them in this condition

Hmm... what is it exactly? SO weee may know the extent of your GAS affliction.

Due to medical condition my motorbike days have come to an end
Therefore I have decided to re-invest my funds into more gear, mostly I do wildlife and motorsport, so I am deciding between Nikon D500 or D850 and reading lots of reviews as to which twins with my 500mm PF best before taking the plunge !
PS I did briefly consider 'mirrorless' but personally I am just not feeling the love

How could NOT love a Sony A1 twinned with a Sony 600mm f4 :) apart from the price :LOL::LOL: around £18,000

Les :)

I keep Telling myself I will not buy any more cameras....... but alas I seem to have pressed the buy button recently on a canon R5 and 24-105 f4 lens oops.... Expecting delivery tomorrow so mega excited. Hope it gives me my photo mojo back as it has been lacking for a good while now. I’ve had to sell another camera and some lenses to help fund it and I always say to myself I will not buy another camera for a very long time. ( scratches head, my definition of a long time seems to change when I decide I want a change and not necessarily need a change. Started off as a canon girl and looking forward to returning now they have the mirrorless camera that meets my needs. I’ve a feeling before the weekend I will be adding lenses to fit my photographic needs. Calling it an early birthday present to me albeit a month early. .... Off to book into cameraholics groupo_O

I fear you are feeding a false mojo, but good luck anyway!

I’ve had a bit of a Gassy month, and I must stop now. Sony 70-200f4, K&F Pro filter system which came with the polariser, and 10 Stop ND. I then added the 3 and 6 stop NDs to go with it. I also purchased a new carbon fibre travel tripod; a Siriu AM-225 for evenings in the City and for our holiday in the Summer. It won’t take up much space in the suitcase and only weighs around 730g. Really don’t need anything else now, but you know GAS…

impressive restraint.. treat yourself - o no - don't do that!!

A few more cameras have come home with me, there Mint - but not too good that I wouldn't want to use them, I popped the data back onto the F801, luckily I had the correct button batteries, even though they were outdated, the seem to work OK, next I just need to buy a few rolls of film,

Just two, this time, a very nice F-601, and a F-801, both I intend to use, a few rolls of Kodak Ektar 100 have been ordered, looking forward to getting out and trying them out, it's been many years since I've used film.

Hi, I am not completely under-equipped, looking at my dining-room table with some of my toys.

But today I got a NIKON D500. One could even find a rational reason for this purchase. -

The D500 has extremely good AF performance. So, I bought it just in case my D850 (and myself) might be over-stressed when taking car pics ... :

Rescued another Nikon that hasn't had much use, I'm pretty sure it hasn't actually been used in the field, to find an FG with the finger grip still on the body is pretty impossible.

Just acquired a nice Zeiss Tenax. Needs a little TLC but I am looking forward to playing with it.

Morning all,

Love those nikon bodies …. I’m not into film, but those look tempting.

You may have seen my other thread - but I’ve got a hankering to nail surf photography now.

Housing purchased - now need lens ports and accessories  :$

My word this adventure is expensive !!!

RF 100-500 just ordered.

I tried not to, I really did....

Damn it, my finger twitched and I will soon to be the proud owner of a Nikon 50mm pancake lens. I don't need one but it was a good price and I hope it will be a fun lens to play with.........

I don't want to think about how many 50mm or equivalent lenses I've bought over the years!:ROFLMAO:
