chelsea look like an expensive pub team

I think the game of the weekend could be the Chelsea v Sunderland six pointer. Will Big Sam revert to 19th Century tactics to thwart Mourhinho again?
Hiddink will replace him til the end of the season, then they'll go after Pep.
Who knows where Moaner will end up? He might not want another PL job straight away after such humiliation, but if Man Utd comes up I think his ego would make him take it.
It will be interesting to see how the players will perform from now on, and whether their problems were/are just the manager.![]()
Same time last year they were rock bottom, what a turnaround. God Forbid. Then Moaninho in.![]()

Wenger out!
It's incredibly depressing to hear that all the faltering rich clubs are planning to raid Leicester during the January transfer window. Vardy to Chelsea, Mahrez to Arsenal or Spurs or Man United or anywhere. And whilst Leicester might say they don't want to sell and don't need to sell, the vast amounts of money the rich clubs can dangle in front of players would surely be unsettling. Treble your salary and have a multi million signing on bonus? Who could say no to that?
The January transfer window has to be abolished, and the sooner the better. It's just inviting the rich clubs to have another go if they screwed up the first half of the season. And if either Mahrez or Vardy goes, it will be the final proof that small clubs can never win anything these days.
(Disclosure: Life long Manchester United fan. Obviously we could make Mahrez an offer he couldn't refuse. But I really hope we don't.)
but a transfer window can also be a lifeline for smaller clubs so it could affect them if abolished. Does it really matter if either go in Jan rather than July? Don't know why we need Mahrez, looked excellent but assuming we play Coquelin and Ramsey in the middle, we have Ozil, Sachez and Theo behind Giroud. Would rather we looked a someone like Kante more than Mahrez.
So they're going to swap one defensive coach for another?Ah well.. odds on Mourinho being driven to Old Trafford as I type?...... not a good result for Mr van Gaal
Really want Wenger to win the title now!
If I were Mahrez or Vardy I'd stay put until the summer - more clubs to choose from then and going to Chelsea/Man Utd won't deliver any silverware (and many a good player never won a league title so these chances should not be spurned).
Mourhino has form for winning trophies in his first 2 years and you can't say Man Utd's defence doesn't need help. The midfield were woeful yesterday, giving up as soon as the ball went past them, very little tracking backSo they're going to swap one defensive coach for another?
Not the point I was making though.Mourhino has form for winning trophies in his first 2 years and you can't say Man Utd's defence doesn't need help. The midfield were woeful yesterday, giving up as soon as the ball went past them, very little tracking back
For all the money they have spent, and for all the players they have on their books, (on loan) it does look a bit poor. Only three strikers.Chelsea started this game with no striker and no striker on the bench. Seems a bit of a shambles for such a big club
How? I was disgusted on Leicester cheating and fouling recklessly. Was pretty disgusted by Arsenal, waving cards when fouled, if they had put as much effort into beating Leicester as moaning like that and to the ref, we would have won a lot easier. Don't like to see that at all.
Didn't see 1st half, but saw the 2nd and the highlights. I don't like this waving the card in the air from anyone. They fouled... so do all teams, and they were punished with a red (that you could argue was a little soft for 1st booking) and their silly foul at the end cost them the draw. How? Mate I saw the whole game and the whole 1st half liecester where fouling us and got no cards yet we got a few!Didn't see 1st half, but saw the 2nd and the highlights.
