You're choosing your words as if you're leading some sort of childish campaign for the 'United should be embarrassed' party.

If QPR take something from the City game and United get a decent result to win the title then great. If City win the league by the odd point then I'll be disapointed at a close 2nd but there's really not much more to it than that.

Well that's good for you. Others, including my father in law will not be so happy

I said disapointed not happy.

Your father in law will have every reason to be even more disapointed in a City win though - he'll have you to put up with. ;)

Newcastle and man united are the only two teams not to win from a losing position this season. Surprising stat!

In 2010 Athletico Madrid won the Europa League, United finished second in the PL, Spurs finished 4th, Blackpool won the play-off final and Bayern Munich lost the CL final. Be funny if that all that repeated again this year!

You've missed the first one, but might be worth a punt on the remaining treble.

So, with all the hatred thrown at Terry of late - namely that he should not go to the World Cup cos of his alleged spat with Rios brother - will people now hold Messi with the same hatred, as he too has supposedly used racist language? Perhaps people will now stop hyping up this racist little ****

I doubt it because we all seem to be party to the Barcelona / Messi 'love in' LOL

Was very surprised to read that Dave Whelan had been expecting a phone call from the FA with regard to Roberto Martinez and the England Job:cuckoo:.
Granted he's doing a grand job on his limited budget and they are not bad too watch at all but they only seem to do it in april/may maybe when he adds the other 7 months to his cv he could be considered for a "top job"

Well szczesny is out with a back injury so fabianski will be in goal for arsenal and both dempster and utuhu will be missing for fulham so you have to fancy spurs. I'm not hopeful for 3rd at all having heard the injury news!

I'm really looking forwards to Sunday - lots of ifs and buts at both ends.

I'm resigned to 2nd too but hopefully we can get 3 points and at least end up with a very respectable 89 points - equal points after a difficult season & everything City have to hand is no mean feat.

I wonder what odds you can get on City winning 7-6 and United 9-0 leaving it level on points, goal difference & goals scored.

A Premier League play off - which we'd loose

part and parcel of the game though really, i wouldnt fancy the refs job or the linesmans for that matter. If all decisions were called correctly we may never have won the world cup:D

Up in arms? If city win tomorrow I'll be even happier knowing that united lost the premiership unfairly :lol:

I could have understood if you'd been cheering on Arsenal, Chelsea or Spurs this season but City's rise from nobody's to Champions elect probably hurts Liverpool more than any other club. I certainly can't see Liverpool playing Champions League football any time in the near future.

Oh don't worry. Im sure I will start to hate city, but this season I'm just happy to see man u not dominate and I think finishing the season without a trophy will be just what the man u fans need right now to bring them down a peg or two.

United haven't addressed issues in one or two places for a couple of years now. With that in mind winning nothing could be a good thing for United in all honesty and and having tipped City since the start - I'm more than happy at being level on points with them with a game to go.

Better news for arsenal today. Szczesny's injury was just a rumour so he will play and Walcott faces a fitness test to see if he can play or not. For all his critics this season I'm still a big fan of Walcott. Just hope Coquelin can fill in ok for Sagna and we can get our first win without Arteta!

How about the other 4 competitions? Are you happy with how those played out?

I'm happy with the cup competitions but not happy with the premier league performance.

Of course I'm not happy with how United did in the other competitions but as I've said before - they're cup competitions in which anything can happen and whilst it's good to win them I've never used them as a measure of anything.

I was gutted, my first season as a season ticket holder, and we've been utterly useless all season. Started out with promise, but when it matters most, utterly failing. It is crap, I make a 380 mile round trip every home game, with every hope of a brilliant game. Very disappointed normally. This season, we've managed to make wins look so difficult, when in truth they haven't been.

It's an accomplishment in itself though Liam, that United have been so 'poor' in comparison to previous years yet have one of their highest points tallies! If it wasn't City that were the main contenders all season, I think we would have finished 3rd or 4th, like many Reds would have been happy with at the start after looking at the squad.

One more for the Reds Sparky!!!!!!! :D

You and I clearly have different understandings of 'utterly useless'! Try getting relegated down two divisions watching some of the most awful play and players you could imagine.

Being joint top of the league with what most people would agree are inferior players to Man City is a pretty good achievement I'd say - and I don't generally like to praise Man Utd. ;)

This as been a long weekend already waiting for the games to start - I need a time machine!

Al, my fingernails have already gone, along with half my fingers. I can already envisage 0-0 at the Britannia with a few minutes to go, us 2 or 3 nil down and very tensely awaiting the final whistles.

I have this feeling in the pit of my stomach that Bolton are going to find something tomorrow that turns their form upside down.

Hi Marc, I'm with you! I'm worried, Bolton can and arguably should win. On the positive side, Crouch likes us, wants to go to Euro 2012 so I'm hopeful he gets a couple!

I also keep telling myself and anyone that will listen that we could get a draw...everyone looks at me like I'm mad...I see Diakate looks like he is out again so I may well be!

Yep, virus at the beginning of the season, virus at the end of it. All seems very strange, beginning to think it's a euphemism.

It's not mad to think that we could get a point but it is extremely unlikely but, given it's the last day of the season and there's plenty of pressure on City (especially if they show complacency), anything could happen.

You heading up that way tomorrow?

Sadly not, my away days are now severely limited now I've got my little boy, though I saw someone offer a ticket the other day and I was very tempted! I'm as if not more interested in the Stoke game - not sure I could face all the false rumours flying around the stadium as we had last week - for a good few minutes I thought Bolton had lost last week, as did everyone around me!

I hope those going up don't have a 'long drive' back and just have a nice big joint celebration with the City fans.

Do me a favour

Try having a season ticket between about 1979 and 1992 and you wouldn't take that view.

Not sure what else to say.

It's refreshing to hear a united fan being honest.

Cheers
