I've been called many things but never a glory hunter :) I guess being born half a mile away from anfield AMD supporting the mighty reds for thirty years makes me one :)

You misread me, I don't mind proper Liverpool fans but in Manchester I am surrounded by Liverpool fans from Thailand, Bristol and london. The only Liverpool Liverpool fan is my cousin, most of family is totally blue.

Oh ..... I thought you were a man united fan? :suspect::suspect:

who do you support then?

I'm united hater. I'm 3/4 welsh, 1/4 scousers, 1/4 of my family are buried in Stanley park cemetery.

I'm very stubborn in my views regarding football supporters :) I believe that only people born in Liverpool should be allowed match tickets. I also think that only people born in Salford should be allowed unites tickets. Only people born in Manchester should be allowed City tickets etc etc etc.

So someone that was born in Wrexham and then moved to Liverpool at 1 years old and lived there for 40 years shouldn't be able to get a ticket? Bit harsh

Fair dos, Wrexham people are scum :p

Wrexham is the hole of NWales :)

Told you I was stubborn :) born in Wrexham? Support Wrexham. Born in Inverness? Support Inverness. Born in Salford? Unlucky :)

Football is like a religion. Born a born always a blue. You can't change if some someone playing is playing better. My dad used to go to Goodson in the 50s, and his parents before him. I have plenty of family in the Stanley cemetery, I have plenty people say I'm English, either I'm either welsh or scouser. My only only English family lives next to Aintree.

You do realise that scousers are English right?

I'm not anti English. I but when people accuse me of being English, I'll accept that but only if that makes me 100% scouser

Very strange

Not really. The only English blood I have in me, is from the everton/anfield district of Liverpool, so I'm either welsh or scouser.

But if you were born in wales then you are Welsh :) end of really :)

Anyway. Football!! Good result for City today. Pressure on Salford Reds now. Let's hope Moyes picks the bluenoses up for their trip to old trafford.

I wasn't born in Wales. I was born in the same place as that great welshman and united player Michael Owen. The position of the hospital hospital doesn't my chester/Wrexham/Liverpool supporter

If you were born in Wales then you are welsh. If you were born in England then you are English. You aren't welsh or scouser you are welsh or English. So, which country were you born in?

My best best friend (and his sister) was in Saudi Arabia, but he's a mix of welsh and English blood. Saudi Arabia will not offer him a passport.

If there was a hospital nearer I would have been born in it. Both my sisters were born in Wales, and if that hospital had remained open so would I.

The Duke of Wellington was born in Ireland, but I think his opinion to that was "if you are born in a stable does that make you a horse"

And we wonder why LFC are stuck in the dark ages

And we wonder why LFC are stuck in the dark ages

If having the desire for people to support their local team is being in the 'dark ages' then I guess I AM living in the dark ages

I'm guessing the local football team to where you are don't win enough trophies to deserve your support

Enjoy the success of your local club, it sounds like a fantastic achievement for them!

Great times - Enjoy your bevvy - will you be coming down to McDiarmid Park next season.

I know my pals up in Inverness will be looking forward to playing you.

Still hoping Saints can finish above United.

I wouldn't expect any football fans to do a blank stare or wtf to news like this. It's what makes football the sport it is and why we love it. Every credit to them.

Cheers guys, might have been a bit defensive but that will be the whisky that was consumed that night.

Anyway today was the first home game since we won the league, more whisky consumed than should be possible (even for us highlanders) and a good time had by all. The stands where bouncing and fans where singing....what a day.

A cheeky few, followed by a few Dalmore's, then a few Glenmorangie's.....

....Sunday is going to be a strugle

Dalmore is more or less local to you I guess.

Had a bit of a sore one today (wife's gran's funeral yesterday) after a few too many Ardbegs.

Our refs really are useless and do not know the rules...

Watching MOTD, Tevez booked for diving - should have been a pen!

Then, a real joke, Wolves about to take a corner, ball looked out the quadrant (it was). Ref comes over and checks it and says its ok!!!!!! Either blind or really does not know the rules!

Two penalties we were robbed of earlier. I was rather annoyed.

Then we went 2-1 up and I was happier.

Coming out of the first half at 2-1, it was a shaky start for City, and I really thought the hilldodgers were gonna turn it back round but then City found form again and bang..! 6-1.

Most chuffed by the result. Just need United to slip up twice now :D
1 loss and 1 draw minimum.....

Well it's certainly up for grabs again after the Wigan game - anything other than a win for United tomorrow and I think (with the derby due) it will be advantage City.
