The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

Very mate, very....

I would have hit it with a burst, probably, shoot a bit wide and crop to suit. Something I've come to realise with the T3 is that the files will stand some pretty severe cropping if needed, and ETTR at high ISO's works well too.

ETTR at high ISO's is fine until you factor in 1/1000s and its dark!! - If I'd gone for ETTR then I don't think the Fuji's ISO range would have coped :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Two “Cracking” Fujigraphs Paul, really liking the PP presentation on these.

George.
As I am new to the Fuji can someone please enlighten me on a "Fujigraph", what's the difference between a Fujigraph and a Fuji picture/image.

Or Snapographs..

You got it in one Trevor, as of yet I have not used the pet name Sonygraph or Sonograph (but I might) :):) only as you quite rightly say "Snapograph"

George.

Caught some strangers today on the x-t100 + xc-35mm. My first time asking strangers if I can grab a portrait which was quite hard for me to do as a shy person, all were happy for a pic though.

Good stuff (y) Not an easy thing to do, but it will build your confidence - Nicely processed too, like it

Thankyou

Thanks, I had film simulation bracket on, I think these were mono + green with a few touches after.

Nice, one of my fav's is Classic Chrome with my own personal touches on top, doesn't work for everything of course but works surprisingly well for a lot of my images. I've dabbled a bit with the various mono ones too.

Overcast skies, common issue, we don't get to dictate how the sky is going to behave. But I can imagine these at sundown with mixed colours [oranges and reds with some cloud formation] maybe later in the evening.
Totally agree and i really should make more of an effort
Cheers

Shoot a few exposures -2 to +2 and bring them together, will make a world of difference.

As my main hobby is Golf and I have a very needy Lurcher I get very little time for post processing so tend to do everything in camera then transfer to phone for cropping, I no longer have desk top or tablet/laptop so I'm quite limited processing wise ( I think) but I do appreciate your advice

What's the general feeling about the 1.4x TC (with the 100-400). Is there any noticable loss in image quality? Or, apart from losing a stop, is it all good?

Thanks

I tried it when I had the 100-400 with no problems at all, I have it pretty much permanently attached to my 50-140 at the moment, and the shots are pretty well sharp.

Here is an example.

It's fantastic, it's next on my list. One of my most regretted sales. Once the cash is in the camera pot it'll be on my camera again.

These were all taken with the 100-400 1.4 fitted and on an xpro/xt2/xt10. Pity the forum kills the sharpness.

Some lovely shots there. I'll stick it on the shopping list..... but when will the spending stop!?!!!!
Never, of course.

I am just trying to tidy my photography stuff up, I must have thousands of pounds worth of stuff i've never used

Only switched back to Fuji a few weeks ago and I already have 4 full bags of kit for varying days out. It is being used though, unlike my Canon kit

It's actually insane. Don't ever tell her but my wife is (always) right, I can only use one at a time.

Same here, I converted to Fuji a month or two ago, so far I have a body and 4 lenses.
