Rofl. As if.
Going to add the 18mm to my collection i think and i reckon I'm gonna try another 35 aswell.
Really? What a load of crap. Why would it need more layers? Wouldn't the paint be pre mixed?

+1 on the 35mm I'm sorry I sold mine it's a super lens, but 35mm on a crop isn't a focal length I use a lot.
LOL yeah that was me once upon a time, then I bought an X100S and realised silver is kinda cool, brought me back to my Zorki 4K days, my first camera .But then my first "serious" camera was a black Canon A1.Not me, once you've had black you never go back...
Oh yeah, my X-E1 is silver...![]()

National Maritime Museum Falmouth by Tim G, on FlickrCheers Tim, Sound advice... on both counts.Yeah, don't buy an Olympus...
Go to a shop and try both, I never did but was set on the Fuji from the moment I decided to switch from Canon.
Fuji do offer primes in all of your focal requirements which may help...I'm sure both systems have their positives and their downfalls it's just which suits YOU best.
Morning, (that's bound to be wrong at least 50% of the time)
I have a thread on the beginners forum about a second camera needed, I shall also possibly put this in the Olympus thread as well if I'm allowed... I don't know if the Fuji bunch are allowed to speak to the Olympus bunch.
Just a quick one as I think I can bore people with my waffle.
The short version is I'm looking for a second camera, Quality, portability and presentation are the key features.
I do not want massive lenses, just maybe 3 around the 18mm, 23mm and 35mm range or thereabouts.
The two cameras I am considering are the Fuji X-T1 and the Olympus E-M5 MkII.
The Fuji is sexy, as well as being a quality camera but the E-M5 MkII is also a good camera.
I have not laid hands on either as I have no decent stockist nearby.
I just wondered if any of you X-T1 owners have any advice that could sway me either way.
Thank you for any help or advice you are willing to offer.

When you say you want a second camera do you mean to sit alongside another system? Will it be used at the same time or something more portable to use separately?
Is it just me? or does that camera and that 27mm lens look just perfect?to save you going back searching
Only just got to have a play with the 27mm. It seems to vibrate when focussing, is that normal?
Is it connected correctly?
Is it struggling to focus? or locking on quickly?
If it's struggling to focus because of low light, could this be it?
does it stop when you acquire focus?
