So whilst the A7iii is not as comfortable in hand as the D750, it does have a lot of little things that I am liking more. I may eventually get a grip but for now I’m just learning and adapting to holding and using the camera differently from the Nikon.
Been using the D750 for so long, the Sony just feels so different!
Although the menus are a bit long non the tooth, the way you can customise so many buttons and short cuts it’s great!
The EVF is ok, not as good as the R or probably the Z6 and apparently it drops quality in shooting, BUT the amount of features they have crammed in something had to give a little.
Tracking at 8fps is great. Black out is minimul. Maybe a tad more than the D750 but nothing major. Even at 10fps you can still track ok. Yeah it’s not live, but it still works well enough as long as you start shooting where you want it’s no issues.
Not really got out and used it properly. Waiting on screen protector and the 70-200! Next weekend will be it’s first low light equestrian event!
