Yeah not too big, covers good range, sharp and assume as this is new stock the issues with it have been sorted.Tempting, seen some great shots with this, looks Uber sharp.

Any thoughts on 25mm batis v sigma art 24mm?
Can't get a play with either so buying blind. The size/weight saving of the batis appeals but the price seems steep next to the art.
In short, will I regret shelling out extra for the batis?

my mates bought the 18 alreadygreat price and they have batis 18mm for £750![]()
Dammmmmnnnn. At that price I'd go Batis. Thanks for the heads up!
Just looked at 24mm shots on lightroom and I tend to shoot F2.2 - F8 with it so I'd be taking on a lot of weight for something I don't use.
The CZ 35 is just like the size of the Canon.
then perhaps consider waiting for the samyang 24mm f2.8?
Loxley, it’s an album design program.
I just prefer the MBP, I’m happy to pay the Apple tax for less headache.
Loxley software works the very same on PC
For music, I have Mac with a Slave PC attached to it doing all the grunt work. Best of both worlds.
The CZ 35 is just like the size of the Canon.

Its there, but slight. Seen worse.

I can see what you are saying.
I think it's fine, will try again further away tomorrow, it's started raining now.
That said, shooting general photos it looks good, sharp and focuses accurately. CA however can be better and build quality is not as good as the 50/1.5 weirdly.
Looks like a keeper for me.I can see what you are saying.

Yea. Group shots or landscape shots. Can you see the (potential) issue though?
Question is.... will he like it.....Managed to convince a friend to buy a A7iii today, quite easy coz he was itching to try something new I think, Canon lad.
He has a canon 7d2 and 100-400 and bought the a73 and 100-400 GM, nice.
Wonder how Tamron lenses can be updated via the camera and Samyang lenses can't. Strange.
I hope this is the case with the Sigma Arts too if they ever need updates etc

amron Co., Ltd. (株式会社タムロン Kabushiki-gaisha Tamuron) is a Japanese company manufacturing photographic lenses, optical components and commercial/industrial-use optics. Tamron Headquarters is located in Saitama City in the Saitama Prefecture of Japan.
Sony Corporation maintains an 11.38% share hold in Tamron
That's a good priceAnyone want an A73?
Wilkinson site says pre-order but they had some in today and status hasn't been update so get in! The offer of £100 off is only on till midnight afaik.
So 1899 for a new body with 3 yr warranty and another 99 for an MC11 on top. Thats £100 less than anywhere else plus additional 2 yrs on the warranty. Still better than import.
