I don't think Jenson is really interested any more since Papa Smurf passed..its a shame if button doesnt have a drive.

Indeed... Not looking good though unfortunately..What a sad way to end an awesome race. Fingers crossed for Jules Bianchi.
Sky F1 have cancelled all the replays of the race!...which is not a good sign.
That seems a slightly strange choice to me. Nothing on the live coverage showed the accident & the BBC re-run has just started.
im pretty sure there would be footage of the crash and its obvious why its not been shown. the photos posted online seem to show the rear wing and most of the engine cover damaged and ripped off, pretty bad stuff. Its not looking to good for him at the moment.
Out of surgery and breathing on his own. Fingers crossed.
and Coulthards words still ring clear "they usually stop the race after an accident in these conditions "
In hindsight they probably should have brought out the safety car to clear the first car but I think it's unfair to try and place blame. All the cars were running on inters with various levels of wear and other than those 2 cars no one else seemed to be struggling massively to stay on track. When the safety car was finally called the guys who pitted stayed on inters rather than switching to full wets so they can't have been too concerned about standing water.
It was just a tragic accident.
Shocking similarity of Maria de Villota for marrussia. Here's hoping he recovers quickly
The 2 accidents were only a lap or so apart, even they had deployed the SC, it probably wouldn't have caught all the cars up before the Bianchi crash.
Maybe, but they don't need to catch all the cars. Once the decision is made the drives are notified and they have to slow down to a set lap delta.
There would already have been double yellows approaching the scene, he should have already slowed right down, I think it was a total freak incident that could still have happened if the SC had deployed.

I wasnt apportioning blame I was pointing out the gambles made didnt work outbut I think it's unfair to try and place blame.

I wasnt apportioning blame
Yes by a gps marshelling system which lights up the relevant flag colour on a display in the cockpit as the car enters the relevant sectorAlso, do they get an in car notification for yellows?
No offence takenSorry. I didn't specifically mean you, just in general. Poor wording on my part.
Double yellows only differ from a waved yellow by the fact the words added are be prepared to stop In other words its worse than a stranded carThere would already have been double yellows approaching the scene, he should have already slowed right down, I think it was a total freak incident that could still have happened if the SC had deployed.
People seemed to feel it was being sensored but I felt that the presenters genuinely didn't know it had happened.
I suspect it will be a few days before there will be any news. Hope he makes a full recovery. It was odd watching it last night knowing that there would be a major accident but i'd already picked up on a few grumbles regarding the accident not being shown so wasn't actually expecting to see it. If i'd watched it live i'd have assumed Sutil or a marshall. You couldn't really see Bianchi's car.
Best wishes to him anyway.
The cameras simply didn't pick it up live
