TalkPhotography Fantasy Football League(s) 24/25

I'm feeling dizzy!!! I'm not used to being this high up in leagues.... 70 points so far this week and I've still got 3 players yet to play in this gameweek :cool: :cool::cool:

I've already passed my points total at the end of Gameweek 19 last season!!!
 
Almost every captain, bench and transfer decision I've made for the last 3 weeks has backfired.... I would have had more points doing nothing!!!
 
In the TalkPhotography league, the top five positions stay the same this week, but 2>5 get closer to leader Chambolica Charente(58). So still 2nd Klopp-Slot Boom!(68), 3rd Woody's wonders(72), 4th Fiendishly Bad!!!(76), and dropping back a bit slightly further, Amber Army(69) in 5th.

Well done to Penfold's Dangermice for getting off bottom spot. I thankfully have a 100 point buffer, at, from them. ;)

Highest scorer of the week was New Oak Utd with 78. :clap:

The average point score for the week was 58.

The deadline for making changes this week is Sat 7th Dec @11:00.

In the Head2Head league, New Oak Utd comfortably survived their encounter with AVERAGE 78-58, and so remain on top.

Biggin Bangers lost their H2H with Fiendishly Bad!!! 68-76, and drop to 5th from 2nd. Klopp-Slot Boom! won their match up with Banished to Riyadh 68-64, and move up to 2nd, four points behind the leader. Woody's wonders beat me, :( 72-61, to move up into 3rd. horspath hounds beat Mrs Smith's Boys 67-53, and are now 4th.

Next up to take on AVERAGE are Biggin Bangers. Zorte on. ;)

What happens when a game is called off and you had captained one of the players involved? Does it move to vice? or is it just wasted

It goes to the Vice Captain.....

I managed to switch my team around before the deadline after finding out about the postponement.... I have 11 players playing but my bench players aren't.
 
What a roller-coaster gw that was! :popcorn: Liverpool no show and double Arsenal defence breached before half time. Thankfully vice captain Palmer stepped up to the mark getting more than half the total single handed and a couple of new boys, Wissa & Bowen add some welcome scores. I've been Haalandless all season and now I'm going Pedroless too. Pair of donkeys the both of 'em!
 
Chips anybody?

The new mystery chip has been announced. If you have £1.5m left from your Haaland sale you can invest it in Slott, Amorim or any other manager and for three weeks get 6 points for a win, 3 points for a draw and points for goals and clean sheets. Also bonus points if your manager's team draw or beat a team 5 places higher than them. Some managers will be lower priced. Getting a manager doesn't cost you a transfer, but changing the manager in the three gws costs a transfer and a signing on fee.

Chambolica Charente(71) increase their lead at the top of the league ahead of Klopp-Slot Boom!(55) to 42 points.

Fiendishly Bad!!! are highest scorer of the week, :clap: and move up a place to 3rd, just 4 points behind Klopp-Slot Boom! Biggin Bangers(71), who move up 2 positions to 4th.

Woody's wonders(39) drop from 3rd>5th.

The average point score for the week was 50 points.

Because of the European games this week, there is no Friday or early game of Saturday, and so the deadline for making changes is Sat 14th Dec @13:30.

In the Head2Head League, leader New Oak Utd (just about) won their match up with Amber Army 42-41. They are now 3 points ahead of horspath hounds, who won the H2H against me :oops: :$ 43-37.

Biggin Bangers took on AVERAGE, and came out ahead 71-50, :clap: and move up to 3rd, 2 points behind horspath hounds. Chambolica Charente beat Mrs Smith's Boys 71-49, and are on 27 points, 1 behind Biggin Bangers.

Also on 27 points are Klopp-Slot Boom! (5th), Fiendishly Bad!!!(6th) and Woody's wonders(7th).

Next up to take on AVERAGE are Amber Army. Sok szerencsét. ;)

That's what I like about the H2H, you only have to have more points than the person you are up against that week, and you can go up the league. :)

Despite losing their H2..., oh sorry, wrong league. ;)

Chambolica Charente's(49) lead at the top has been reduced slightly to 32 points from Fiendishly Bad!!!(63), who move up a position to 2nd. Klopp-Slot Boom!(49) drop a place to 2nd, now 10 points behind Fiendishly Bad!!!. Biggin Bangers(55) stay in 4th.

Highest scorer of the week, Amber Army with 66, :clap:and they move up a place to 5th.

The average point score for the week was 47.

There is an early game on Saturday, so the deadline for making changes Sat 21st Dec @11:00.

Biggin Bangers beat Woody's wonders 57-52, and move up into 2nd. horspath hounds drop from 2nd to 5th after losing to Fiendishly Bad!!!, 59-63.

Klopp-Slot Boom! won against Asterisker Citeh* 49-43, and the move up to 4th, on equal points with Fiendishly Bad!!! and horspath hounds on 30 points.

Amber Army took on AVERAGE, and thankfully for them were highest scorer of the week, 66-47. :clap:

Next up to take on AVERAGE are Woody's wonders. Fat të mirë. ;)

I had an iffy start, and made some bad moves, have been improving overall since ;)

It is up to opponents to beat me, not other way ;)

Up until now I've been running a bench with el-cheapos that haven't been playing which meant I've been at risk of losing out on points when a selected player hasn't played..... I now have a bench player who has been playing most weeks.....

I usually have a slump in December / January. Looks like its starting. Rogers sold this week and getting an assist & goal, Saka injured, Gooners shipping a goal again..........
 
I have Aina on the bench as 3rd sub, with 15 points! :rolleyes: So far, the 4 that have played in the team have 10 between them. :LOL:

I have Welbeck as 1st sub, but he didn't play today, but I have Gvardiol as my 2nd sub, and if only 1 doesn't play out of the rest, I'll get a big fat zero for him. :LOL:

I can beat your tales of woe!
I have 8 points from my 5 players and 24 points on the bench. Looks like you have a good team to play against in the H2H
 
My H2H opponent forgot to bench Rogers and has stuck with Havertz despite weeks of famine. I'm doomed! Doomed I tell ye!
