And good job too, as New Oak Utd lost their last H2H with me 44-62. ;) Maybe like Liverpool, their focus was no longer on the league after winning it.

To be fair, I played it much like any other week, I did make a -8 kick off so maybe I just didn't care, but it wouldn't have mattered, you won fair and square on this one :)
 
I have to say that the second half of this season has been the most frustrating time that I have experienced on FPL. Looking at Klopp, Slot, Boom's gw history I see that he too struggled through that middle third. The game has changed, not for the better and the PL players are being worked to death with the increasing pressures of extra games; no more international friendlies, CL league instead of two legs all means more game time for the better players and more rotation and injuries. Also the rule changes and other tweaks changed the way that bonus points were awarded and the farce that was the assistant manager chip!

I have seriously considered not bothering next season.

I did indeed, and in the first and last thirds too:p
Don’t take me as any sort of yardstick though!
It’s my worst ever season by a long long way, I struggled to break into the top million all season. The game is getting harder, there’s more players, and more info available, plus chip strategy has pretty much been ‘solved’. At least this season mixed that up!

Well done Clive, but I look forward to taking your crown back next season…

Just popping in to say well done to everyone and thank you very much to @redhed17 for running the leagues and doing the weekly updates; they add to the fun and are really appreciated!
Family issues meant my season fell away and I missed several deadlines in the last few weeks, but it has still been good fun and I hope to be fully involved again next season.

Yes, it's going to take some getting used to. I've just signed up for another season, although it's early days in the transfer window and my squad is likely to go through many changes.

I see the 'pundits' are blowing smoke in our eyes as usual. The latest bandwagons they are trying to start are playing the bench boost chip on gw1 followed by a wildcard :rolleyes:

Then there is all the fuss about the defensive contributions, trying to lure people into buying centre backs and defensive midfielders. DC Magnets is all the vogue. Yes, they could be useful. But very few will trigger the bonuses on a regular basis and they will probably come from teams in the bottom half of the table.

Think for yourselves chaps and chapesses. Don't be bamboozled into wasting your chips.
 
wow! what an absoloute mess! Why do these sites insist on trying to fix what's not broken? and then ... breaking it lol!

It's recognising that I have indeed logged in before via FB, but then tells me this account doesn't exist
 
Got it sorted, I'm in at least, but I really don't think much of the new layout, it is what it is I guess

For anyone else having issues logging in, just go to register, and input your details - if you used to log in , like I did, using FB, just link it again and you should be fine.

I can get used to the layout, [I mostly play on PC] ... but ... WHY??? did they have to make it so when I switch between Gk/Def/Mid/Fwd that it pops up other side of the screen and I then have to confirm other side of the screen just to switch between each position?

It really should/could have been laid out much smoother

We'll get used to it I'm sure, I have my initial draft done now, which may change a billion times before kick off - but I'm in at least
