I like this, even without reading the poem the image says it all.
Hi Damien, I think you've made a great start to thisI really like Week 1, it's a really effective abstract and fits the theme well
I prefer the 1st poetry picture, I think the composition and lighting work really well
Good luck this week ... I'm struggling a bit too![]()
I like it... very interesting colours. =)
Damien, I like it too. The depth of field makes it interesting. Oh and I am with Lynton on the supermarket/chopped theme......intriguing![]()
I look forward to your effort from tomorrow! <- if that makes sense? Lol. But I'm very intrigued... =)
very nice simple image that works beautifully, though very curious to see your post supermarket effort if it happens![]()
I have a whole hour before I go to work (again) so I'm taking the opportunity to visit as many 52's as I can.
Glad I wasn't the only one thinking "logs" You've acomplished exactly what I was aiming for (and missed). The processing really brings out the wood and the DOF is pretty much spot on. In short, I hate you![]()
Amazing colours and I like the crop and composition. I find the pale leaves on the left just a little distracting and might have darkened them a bit, but all in all a lovely picture.![]()
Love the DoF and the colours. The log almopst looks lke it's been stained especially for the shot.
where is it??????????
Strictly speaking it looks sawnBut I'm liking your week 3. Nice use of DoF, good framing and well processed

I am liking week 3 alot, love the colours and the DoF, it makes it a really pleasing image.
Thanks Iain, I was too lazy to set up any sort of background so got my macro lens out decided to just shoot the side of the tin. If I'm honest, I only added the 2nd chopped photo to stop Lynton moaning....he's relentless!!
Also, my three previous 52 photos are all lacking strong colours so I thought this might brighten things up a little!!
Looking forward to week 4!!!!![]()
Some (you) might say Lynton's moaning, other's (me) would say he is encouraging you, supporting you, trying to bring out the best in you as a friend and fellow tog......am I convincing you with my positive slant?![]()

... hey you were the one who spotted the dogging site first, ok to be fair, we were unaware at the time, I was merely the chauffeur!and impatient nosey parkers like Lynton are forcing me to use my camera more often

I like your street image Damien, especially the eye contact with the subject. Its not as straightforward as I thought it would be getting a street image. You have done well on this theme Damien.
