Simon's 52 for 2025

Nice shot Simon - and that red buoy really helps it along!
Cheers Dave. Always appreciate your comments.
Yes, I had a similar shot without the bouy, and there was a startling difference to how I perceived them

Nice land/seascape, yes what a difference the weather makes, last week would have been grey on grey

Nice blues with the little splash of red, I really like it.

Nice pic Simon, I like the gradient in the Blue

That would make a wonderful 10ft photo.

I am also on the list for liking the contrast that the red buoy brings to the party

Great pattern and buildings. We have stayed in Ludlow a few times, nice town.
Stayed at the Feathers hotel built in 1600 odd, some of the floor / wall levels are way out. One bed had 4 or 5 inch blocks of wood under feet one end to level the bed out :)

Thanks Keith! We stayed at the Feathers too, although we had one of the rooms that was a lot less wonky!!

A nice set of patterns Simon :)

Great set of pictures that you have taken, it is a toss up between your chosen picture and the stained glass one for me!

Week 11 - Animal(s)

Well, a right bonus for this week's theme.
Went on a walk this morning around our local country park (Cosmeston, near Penarth int he Vale of Glamorgan). Plenty of animal opportunities here, some wildlife, and some sculpture, but just as we were finishing our walk by a boardwalk on a pond, this water vole popped out. Disappeared again, and reappeared munching on some plants about 10 feet away from us. Have seen them several times there, but normally they're really timid. This fella sat there happily for ages as I lay down and inched my way forward and took a whole bunch of photos and a video. I don't think I'll top this for a good shot of "Ratty" the water vole. Mucho pleased!

As an added bonus, I also managed to get a Great tit feeding from my hand (photo by my daughter on her phone)

Jackdaws - I like the way these two are looking inquisitively in different directions!

Patterns: Great set Simon and hard to choose a favourite.
Animals: Wow! Great pic of what is now a quite rare creature. Not seen one for years.

Thank’s Pete. Seen a few here, but basically luck. Never seen one this close and this un-bothered by me though,

Such a lovely set of images, your water vole is a really excellent shot!

Awesome shot of Mr Ratty

The vole is a great shot, a good set but the vole stands out not something you would see very often.
