Thanks Keith. It’s quite nice there. An old quarry.Very nice shot of the water vole, looks like a great park to visit
Thanks Ross.Great shots Simon - I really like your chosen patterns shot - I'd be interested in seeing it croppped 1:1 around the centre of the shot.
The Water Vole capture is ridiculous - it must have been so satisfying to be in the right place and the right time and get a gem of a picture too!!![]()

No shortage of bikes there
Thanks. First time visit for me. Had a fab 6 mile walk around the canals in the centre. Loads of shots to process in the coming days.Certainly works, instantly recognisable that scene. Funny I was just talking about visiting Amsterdam this afternoon.
Great place to visit, been a few times although its been nearly 20 years since the last time. The missus has never been, nor my daughter as they keep reminding me so I think we might have to organise a trip in the not too distant future. Hopefully in slightly better accommodation than the hostels I stayed in in my younger days, think I'm past sharing a bathroom with a bunch of 20 somethings.Thanks. First time visit for me. Had a fab 6 mile walk around the canals in the centre. Loads of shots to process in the coming days.
That's a good one Simon, I always like bike shots.
Classic Amsterdam shot and perfect for the theme!!
Thanks Paul.As Ross says, a classic Amsterdam shot. Nice!
Kinderdjik windmills 1 by Simon Hiscocks, on FlickrThanks Paul. Yeah - the post is annoying. I’ve already cropped it a bit to take some junk out of the left edge. Might resort to some artistic license….Cheat or not, I like it. The post, less so![]()
