Simon's 52 for 2025

Great shots Simon - I really like your chosen patterns shot - I'd be interested in seeing it croppped 1:1 around the centre of the shot.

The Water Vole capture is ridiculous - it must have been so satisfying to be in the right place and the right time and get a gem of a picture too!! :-)

Happy for you to play with the patterns shot if you want to. Might a
Have a fiddle tomorrow if I have time.
Water vole - yep, sometimes more luck than planning!

Nice one Simon :)

Box ticked and that is well broken, all planted now? Great to see that blue sky :)

Thanks Keith.
These were just “spares” that I had lying around. Stuck them there to brighten up the garden.

Week 13 - Texture

Jeepers. I don't know where the time is going.....packing for a holiday later this week so a quick wander down at Barry Island this morning walking the neighbour's dog yielded these images for this week's theme.

Good set and think you picked the right one, another meaning for meet you at 5 :)

Mmmmmm No1 - I'm liken da lichen :)

Really like your broken shot Simon, you just need a climber to wind up the handle.

I think that your chose the right image for texture as well.

A lovely set and for me, the first one is a favourite. The light and the lichen work nicely.

Box ticked :)

Certainly works, instantly recognisable that scene. Funny I was just talking about visiting Amsterdam this afternoon.

Thanks. First time visit for me. Had a fab 6 mile walk around the canals in the centre. Loads of shots to process in the coming days.

Great place to visit, been a few times although its been nearly 20 years since the last time. The missus has never been, nor my daughter as they keep reminding me so I think we might have to organise a trip in the not too distant future. Hopefully in slightly better accommodation than the hostels I stayed in in my younger days, think I'm past sharing a bathroom with a bunch of 20 somethings.

That's a good one Simon, I always like bike shots.

Week 15 - Snapper's Choice

A bit of a cheat this week. I have yet to catch up on all sorts of things after last week's river cruise in the Netherlands and Belgium, and barley had time to pick up a camera even less think about getting out and taking some shots. So here's one of my favourites from our week away, when we stopped at Dordtrecht, and visited the Kinderdijk windmills.

I'm sorry I haven't visited and commented on many posts in the last week or so but it's been a bit busy here.....:sorry:

Cheat or not, I like it. The post, less so ;)
Thanks Paul. Yeah - the post is annoying. I’ve already cropped it a bit to take some junk out of the left edge. Might resort to some artistic license….
