Show us yer film shots then!

From the early 1990s: a group at a village fete in central Devon, recorded with a Nikon F and (probably) a 200mm lens. For some reason, before I scanned this I didn't spot the print. Now, I'm leaving it as is for "authenticity" (AKA, laziness)...

I'd sent off 16 films to be dev'd and scanned. Was going to do the b&W myself but it getting a little depressing seeing all the exposed rolls in a box so bit the bullet and paid. Hence so many posts (for me). Awaiting an E6 and a C41 with prints (family snaps) to come back.

Still got 4 Minox (8x11mm negs) to do but some time off next week to home dev them.

In the meantime have another...

I am somewhat stunned by the colour saturation of this Flic Chrome 100 when there is full natural (and artificial) light. If I can find it cheap enough I'll certainly be buying a couple more rolls.

A few from that circa 1937 Voigtlander Bessa I bought for display!!

These were masked at 4.5x6 btw too instead of the full 9x6 - Firstly, I get twice the shots per roll. And, I wanted as many shots as possible as I was testing :)

Konica Autoreflex T2 with 135mm Tamron Adaptall lens and Ilford XP2 Super, developed in HC110

Somewhere we have or had an early Tamron 135mm Adaptall 11, I can't remember selling it or even giving it away but don't recall seeing it for years. I do remember it was a relatively big and heavy lens lens with reasonable performance, certainly better than the 70-210 which I still have a couple of copies of, the last of which basically came free with a Nikon AiS I wanted.

Mine is like this- it weighs about 375g - sounds like a different version. I don't use it too often as I'm more likely to carry the 90mm f/2.5 macro.

No that is the version I had, I was remembering it as quite a solid lens. I was given a C/Y 85mm f/1.4 Planar thirty some years ago which replaced the Tamron as my every day longish lens so it is a while since I have seen or even thought about it.

These are not good photos, they are a first effort at making a "Trash Pan" camera. I have an utterly ruined Mamiya 23 with a 90mm lens and I wanted to get somthing like an X-Pan style of photo by using 35mm film in it. Clearly the rangfinder is out and I think the iris blades are not moving correctly. My temporary black tape film gate clearly was a bit off as well. With such a broken camera and film back I'm not sure I'm going to try and address the issues with this one but maybe I'll try again with another camera.

The New HARMAN RED ! I shot a short length in my Olympus OM2n with 3 Zuiko lenses rated 125ASA and processed in Well -Used C41 giving 3 mins 45 secs @ 100oF in the Dev then scanned with PlusTek OptikFilm 7200 + Vuescan Pro + PhotoShop 7 as 'TIFFS' first. I set 'Auto Levels' but I also looked at all the other scan settings such as Landscape. Tungsten, Portrait. and NIGHT and found setting NIGHT gave me BLUE Results !
