I don't agree with corporate punishment, one it doesn't work, infact it often has reverse effect.
and it's too easy for teachers to take advantage of.
.
So, if you're murdered haven't your human rights been somewhat violated?
\no that's incorrect.
MODS: can you please tell me where the ignore button is, because this guys getting on my tits
He must be a defense solicitor or something![]()

says who?
i didnt say you do forfeit, i said you shoud forfeit
No, he's a 12-year old![]()
yes, point being? Just because someone does something to you you don't have to return it.

why? who are you to say what we should and shouldn't do?
So free reign for criminals then, is that what you're advocating, because that's what it sounds like.
It's so easy to sit behind a keyboard advocating a Utopian view of what society should be.
No I'm advocating human rights for all.
Anyway I rest my case, seems like nobody has anything to say here other than fascist tosh.
Ah, the cry of the idealist. If you can't win, call everyone a fascist!
come on flash, at least be constructive.
A few years in the real world will soon knock that sort of nonsense out of you![]()
Sorry if I'm too liberal for not wanting the death penalty in the UK.:bang:

Human rights refers to the basic rights and freedoms to which all humans are entitled
No I'm advocating human rights for all.

TBH I don't want it either, but I'm not trying to brow beat everyone else who disagrees. Advocating the death penalty does not make you a fascist.
maybe he is genuinely one of these people who if caught a burglar in his house, he would sit them down with a coffee and explain the error of their ways, then give em £50 to fund their drug habit and get a bag of chips.
ME...... Id be breaking some legs
choosing to put me on there ignore lists because I don't advocate the death penalty though? hmmm.....![]()
on what grounds am I wrong?
come on, justify yourself.
so because I don't believe in the death penalty and I respect human rights, I'm suddenly going to do that? right...
).I dont know, breaking someones legs is an infringement of human rights, but if i caught someone in my house i really couldnt give a **** about their rights.
Fair enough. On the one hand your saying everyone is entitled to their human rights. Would you agree that those human rights extend to not being murdered, beaten or raped?
If you do I can't see how you can't agree that those who have deprived someone of their rights have also lost the right to claim those same rights.
For me it's basic logic, but then again I am a right wing fascist.
I dont know, breaking someones legs is an infringement of human rights, but if i caught someone in my house i really couldnt give a **** about their rights.
Yantorsen, you do seem to have a way of winding people up on this forum. I've read this whole thread, and to my mind, people who throw a lit firework into a baby's pram have forefited all human rights. That is simply sub-human behaviour, and it should be punished as such. A lighted firework should be held down their undercrackers for 10 seconds. I can guarentee they would never do anything like this again (they wouldn't have the balls for one thing).
And in murder cases where there is irrefutible DNA evidence, I do advocate the death penalty. Where DNA evidence is unavailable, but the jury has found you guilty beyond reasonable doubt (which is the law of the land), then life should mean life, not 12 years. The UK has an awful lot to learn from the US criminal justice system IMHO.
I didn't say I'd break someones legs, I'd attempt to restrain them and call the police, if that was not possible (if they were too big too many etc) I'd just try n get them away. Reasonable force is one thing, totallying disregarding human rights for breaking and entering is another.
Years ago I was forced (by the police) to remove the razor wire from the top of the wall round my workshop yard in case I injured anyone who was climbing over to break in to my premises
You realise that if you forcibly restrain someone and prevent them from leaving your house you could be charged with false imprisonment?

I agree with you that is stupid.
wheres the prtscrn buttonflash, he agrees with someone, wheres the prtscrn button

When I was at school if you did anything wrong you got the living **** belted out of you and that made you think twice before doing whatever it was again.Whilst I was in fifth year corporal punishment was banned and replaced with detention and punishment exercises, with the result that there was a noticeable rise in anti-social behaviour.
The punishment must fit the crime. If you take a life then you must suffer the consequences and being waited on hand and foot for the rest of your life is not an appropriate punishment for killing kids...
yes i realise that, but I think any decent lawyer would be able to argue the truth in this case, especially since I'm 17, not some older bloke trying to kidnap people.

despite the US having more crime than here?
also who's gonna pay for having someone in prison for life? yes that's right us. and it seems unfair and unjust that one murderer gets off lightly by going to prison because there better at destroying evidence.
