Daily Sarah's 365 31st December 2013 - The End! (CAN'T BELIEVE I'VE ACTUALLY FINISHED!!)

I love today's photo - those icicles are very impressive! I love thatched rooves, we just don't get many of them where I live! Thank you for sharing the story of the building with us! :)

beautiful shot Sarah - sharp and full of detail :) Great story too

Me too, that's why the pile gets so big :) I really must get on with it today.

Pleased to announce that I did an hour's worth today - merely scratched the surface though

Very much like todays, the conversion suits it - looks quite dark to me though, but it could just be this laptop :(

Great shot and really interesting to hear a bit of the history behind it.

Doll, spooky!
Ironing, haha, feel your pain as chief ironer of the house!
Fox, great shot of a cool building, imagine walking out that door though as an icicle falls...yikes!!!

Thanks, with the way the ice was melting yesterday I would imagine it made a bang as they all fell off :)

Cool shot :)

LOL thank you :)

I love the ironing pile  works very well, did he make it out alive :suspect: but that cottage is stunning, love the icicles

Thanks, wasn't the planned shot for yesterday, I went out to shot the church, but liked this instead for the 365

Great shot and really interesting to hear a bit of the history behind it.

Thank you.

Love it! Nice and sharp & detailed.and it made me smile! I'd love to guess what other people were saying about the goings on at your table! :D

Sam, we were first in at 10, so no one else there :) They are used to me as well taking stuff in like this. It's a really nice cafe & they put my prints on the wall for me & I've done some big 1m x 1.5 metre shots of their coffee for them.
Glad it made you laugh Toni :)

Haha he is a good prop to use, I think I need to find something that can act as a stand in at times.

Nice looking cafe too :)

The cottage from yesterday is really nice Sarah, well caught with the icicles.
Todays made me laugh, nice to see roary again.

Great shot Sarah :) These pesky pets that cant be trained are such hard work  Leave him at home as punishment next time ;)

  I do like that  I think that it works really well love that he's got right on in there :D

LOL, he certainly did, very greedy :)

That made me smile! :D

He is taking much longer to housetrain than my dogs did :)

That dinosaur of yours is fast becoming a firm favourite of mine!

Thanks, he's quite a favourite of mine now as well.

I'm glad I don't have a house dinosaur! He seems rather mischevious!

LOL, they are not the easiest of pests, or should that be pets! LOL.

Whitworths Mill

Whitworths Mill on the River Nene at Wellingborough. It was bloody freezing out there today and the river has burst the banks yet again, so very muddy. I thought I'd get this one today as it's just opposite Tesco & I had to get some shopping on the way home.
30 second exposure to get the movement in the river.

I like it Sarah, would have liked to seen all the building behind in the shot.

Thanks for the input Jake, I can see what you mean, I was divided between cropping, removing completely or leaving in. But you might be right in that seeing the top would be good, but the sky is a uniform grey, so there was too much, if you know what I mean.

Liking this one Sarah! Wonder what it's like inside?

Thanks Toni, just general modern mill stuff now I think, the whole place is modernised and horrible looking, apart from this facade on the river where the canal boats used to moor up to unload.

+1 if it's in the shot - or actually for the monstrosity behind that lovely old mill building not to be there at all ;)

EDIT: - meant to ask what lens ? (not much info. in EXIF)

Will be very interesting to see the results. Most of the 365's seem to be just a bunch of unimaginative images that the photographer has forced themselves to take! :bang: Will be very interesting if anyone can break free from this trap!

I considered doing a Photo52, but I struggle to stick to a schedule of any kind!

Good Luck! I look forward to seeing the completed project.
