yep - her hands were literally shaking with excitement when she first touched it, and she was overawed by the size and its effectiveness. (and i'm going to be in soo much trouble when she reads this post - although every word s true)

PETE!!!... Oh yes you are.... but yes actually it is all true :lol::lol::lol: and what else did i do?
 
well first you took me into the forest because you really wanted to play au naturel - but then we were very disappointed that we couldn't find anywhere suitable so we had to go back to your place.

then back at your place you insisted that the garden was the best place , and although I showed you the full 500mm I only let you touch 90mm - and I had to put it n for you because you weren't confident about handling it at first - but you soon learnt :naughty:

all in all I had T(ea) at least four times. :lol:

the whole day was great fun , and well worth the 400 mile round trip ;)

I am not bringing meringues for everyone at the next convention when it happens that's just too much baking...I will be bringing an epically wondrous specimen of a cake :D as soon as a date is made I'll be putting in my order with my expert cake maker :woot:

Don't talk to me about sofas fitting in through doors! (Or I suppose, fitting OUT through doors!!!) Shortly before I had the flooring finished in the conservatory, we needed a sofa for when it was habitable, so I went on a trawl round the charity shops and managed to find one that looked the right size, colour etc and was even a bed settee (skanky mattress but the sofa's OK). Delivered for just over £100. They even held the delivery until we were ready for it. When it arrived, it came through the front door with a couple of cm to spare and they left it for us to shift the final few feet. An inch too big to go through the sliding door out into the conservatory... Removed the handle so the door slid a bit further and now the thing was only a few mm too big but it was still too big. Ended up emptying the dining table drawers and tipping the table on end away from the doors so we could wiggle the sofa through at an acute angle and finally got it in. It would probably have been easier to take down a couple of fences and bring it in through the double hinged doors from outside rather than through the house - when it leave, it will be in pieces small enough to go through a letterbox!
 
I see we've had our very own play area created ... I did tell you that hijacking marcels thread was a bad idea didn't I :suspect:

I wouldn't worry , I got a very close look at T's sofa yesterday ( as I reclined on it while she ran her hands over my equipment) ;) and i'm thinking it will go through the door no bother. :thumbs:
