ahh yes , Kerry dew - 110% proof , and seasoned for at least 7 days in an old oil drum - what could be better (except for some fuel syphoned out of an old torpedo)

An uncle and aunt were having problems conceiving their first child and after passing all the usual checks went to see their doctor who simply prescribed "3 times a day after food." Reduced the uncle to a shadow (albeit with a smug grin fixed to his face!) but they do now have 2 grown up sons!

To be fair that was because of a little too much banter in the wrong place :bat: but still it kind of suggests a little bit of fun in OOF is fine...if its not then well............how long before your then not allowed to have a good laugh and a joke in the chat room?
 
And not everyone uses MSN (or t***ter/Farcebook...)

Unless of course that was an Admin comment in which case, "Yes Sir, no Sir, three bags full Sir..."

surely the point of a thread like this is that it just continues and the banter is kept confined within it ... I really fail to see why that's a problem.

Surely anyone who doesn't like the banter can exercise sufficient self control to look at any of the other 3000 plus active threads

when admin said they wanted banter contained to OOF - I though well imo that's a mistake but its your football

then admin said to take a week off from mentioning Jaffa cakes at all - and I thought fair does - and complied

Marcy also asked me to stop with the Yv jokes and I complied with that and sent her an apology

then marcel created this thread and indicated that he wanted the banter kept within in - again I don't believe that is sensible for the forum at large , but its your football

but now you are saying that you don't even want it in here. (and don't say use the chat , because we tried that and teddies were thrown about that too)

I have to ask if you don't want people to have a laugh why have a section for "Totally unrelated off topic type stuff, jokes, rants, raves..anything at all thats nothing to do with photography "
