Project 52....by Kennysarmy + week 52 Texture

Yep, he looks a happy bunny to me...good capture

I like the great eye contact you have but like Jean said playing and not looking at the camera may have been the better shot...

still good though...:clap::clap::clap:

Good shot Jeff... he certainly looks like he's having fun

He definitely looks as though he's having Fun. :) I'd have loved to see him in action, either singing or playing an instrument.

The b&w processing works well.

Jean

Lazy I know, but I agree with Jean. Still a great shot though.

Thanks for the comments...here they are ....in action...

Love the processing and DoF on this :clap::clap:

Certainly looks like he´s having fun. I can see why the shot of him singing wouldn´t work though as he looks more like he´s in pain than having fun ;)

That's what I thought...the shot where he looked directly at me...as if to say..."I'm having fun..and I don't mind you taking my photo"...seemed the better choice...

:D and to think I spent 2 days trying to think of something that said "easy".

Such a simple interpretation, but so effective.
I notice that you've managed to catch Pi on the wall above too - so you have "easy as Pi" in there as well.
Very clever

I love the B&W conversion. It really adds something to the shot.

hehe... Nice interpretation Jeff. it's worked well and the B&W with vignette adds to it.

Hi Kenny sorry for late replies!!

Fun: I love this shot with its b&w treatment, and clarity. I really like the way he has eye contact with you and wouldn't change that. I have however moved your photo around a little and think it would work with the sax cropped out!! (just my opinion) Great capture!:clap:

Easy: Having only just escaped the classroom, this is not inspiring me much, but is a good shot well thought of!! Perhaps though in light of recent events H1N1 on the board would have been more apt!!

I take my hat off to you. That's so simple, and so effective . The PP is excellent too.

...but that is a fair point. Out of the options you have posted I would also have gone for the first.

Easy - I really like the processing on this one and of couse it fits the theme beautifully

OOoooh, well done on the 'Fun' shot, lovely conversion too.

Easy, cracking shot!! Really like the composition and choice of take on theme for that. Spot on

B&W fits this image and its a really great take on the theme, It reminds me of having "see me" written all over my jotter in red pen :D

Another great idea that has been well executed. Can't add anymore to what has already been said so I'll just applaud the shot.

Mark

Kenny, thats a cracking shot, really like the oof background and the redbreast of the robin works well against the green.

Very nice shot. Well done Sir.

I think it's a super photo. It doesn't scream out "colour" to me, but then again neither does my own for this weeks theme! So that doesn't really matter to me, because I still love it :D.

Superb positioning of the Robin btw (screams rule of thirds!). Nicely done

Yes that's a great capture Jeff I've done a few bird shots and can appreciate the skill involved, and a brilliant oof B/G to boot ...:clap::clap:

lovely shot of the Robin with smashing dof. Well done

This works for me - very well. There's quite a lot of space/oof tree above the little chap - but it works really well. Maybe because, as karmagarda pointed out, it follows the rule of thirds.

Well done for getting the shot too - birds aren't famous for posing for the camera.

Jean

Lovely colours and a GREAT bird shot!
Maybe a boost in contrast? Although not sure how that'd turn out with the different shades of colours you have [dark/light]

Superb capture Jeff. Sharp and detailed, wonderful OOF bg which sets of the Robin nicely. And the colours work so well together.

What a great shot that is. Fantastic bokek, excellent composition and sharp in all the right places :clap::clap:
