sure about that? what about the black market trades in both? They aren't illegal nor does the procurement of those things cause other crimes.

They aren't illegal nor does the procurement of those things cause other crimes. People hooked on drugs do terrible crimes to finance their habits.
So we should shoot people who steal then?
to add to that point..sure about that? what about the black market trades in both?
Someone with a record like this

Yes. 13 life sentences...WTF. Why was he out.
should do it for speeders too, they don't learn from their mistakes either

Firstly...concurrent sentences.Someone with a record like this

Steve seriously, if you spend your life trawling for stuff like this which impact your life zero percent. ...you have issues all your own that need addressing.
You seem to partake in these threads, maybe your have issues you need addressing? I was merely illustrating the point where I reckon a theif should see capital punishment.
You seem to partake in these threads, maybe your have issues you need addressing? .
So I'll ask again, do you think all thieves should be shot?
what about those stealing to survive? i.e. the poorSay after 3 offences. Yes.

they should be shot too for scrounging off the government and not paying taxes - I'd be dead in ST4's world![]()

education should be free plus I don't pay tax thoughNo. Just no more free uni. IIRC you have a job. You'd be fine - as much as it pains me to admit.

Well, if everyone chose not to go into higher education, the country would be screwed within a generation.
The costs you would have to shoulder would then be considerably higher.
Why should it be free. University further education is optional blah blah blah. Why should we all shoulder the cost of your and others like yours choices? Nothing like a perpetual student IMHO.
You wanna go to uni, great. My view is its a cost you and you alone should bare. Not the tax payer. If we get a half sensible government, these days will be over.
No. People would just have to pay for it themselves - there would be less graduates but the few would be of a higher calibre as the lesser uni's would go out of business. This en mass funding of degree's hasn't exactly done us much good as it stands.
Of course, they pay more tax..so rich people are of a higher calibre then?
Of course, they pay more tax..
Not my view budyou sure about that lol
I think he's right actually.
Education for the wealthy elite.
Capital punishment for stealing a loaf of bread.
Isolationism in a world of power blocs.
Summary execution of undesirables.
Can't see why people would be against any of that. It's time we gave proven failed policies another go.
Some people might say it's moronic, small minded and ignorant. I say, "what have you got against the moronic, small minded and ignorant?" You're all too judgmental.
But their face would explode in a slow-mo gore fest. It'd be brilliant!
It'd be like playing Warcraft, or whatever it's called, and then race to the next scumbag like it was GTA.
well actually its not optional for a lot of jobs. I certainly couldn't do my chosen profession without a PhD and you can't be a perpetual student without paying for it. How do you think nurses are trained these days or midwives? You clearly live in some weird ass bubble like David Cameron et al
It must really get your goat that I've had 9 years of free education paid for by the goverment lol
so rich people are of a higher calibre then?
As far as the exchequer goes and the economy and paying for the running of the country. Yes. Yet they get the same voting rights as someone who pays nothing in. Is that fair?
Considering that the ONLY 'voting right' is the right to vote I don't see what your point is.
I think the administrative burden is not worth it. Why not just instantly limit it to higher rate take payers, that way it will increase the revenue instantly, sure the tax rate will be voted down, but that immediately increases the voters base and thus revenue again. And so on, until it finds it natural acceptable level in the market, with a result of more revenue, more active voters, and a more involved country...That a possibly fairer voting system would be linked to how much assets you have/tax you pay.
A bit like your voting rights are linked to the number of shares you have if you vote at an AGM for a company.
