No one makes you apply (the key word is there apply) for a job that requires graduate qualification. No one makes you apply for a degree. As such both are optional and to her the job you want (but might not need) you may have to get a degree. Doesn't mean that degree should be paid for by people like me.
As far as the exchequer goes and the economy and paying for the running of the country. Yes. Yet they get the same voting rights as someone who pays nothing in. Is that fair?
One.
I don't pay anything in to the exchequer so should I not get the same voting rights as someone that pays tax. you can't seriously think the way you do, this has got to be a wind up.
you pay peoples wages, are you going to complain about that too. without university education we would be in the dark ages still, you really do talk such a load of crap.
better watch out only 2 more chances left
I don't know what's worse. The fact that ST4 is clearly just a troll and a wind up merchant or that we all fall for it in every thread!
You can only carry out the basic human right of voting in a democratic election if you pay enough into the system?! Out of all your batsh*t utterances this has to be the one that takes the cake and the cherry on top too. You do know that people have died so we all get a vote? The right to vote for who governs you is a universal right and the fact that you want that right to only be afforded to rich w******s is the absolute evidence needed that you are in fact a troll of the highest order.
Do you think as rich people as w*nkers? Says everything about your thought process.
It's a forum to discuss things. I am discussing things, you sadly are replying but reasoned discussion can be hard with aggressive posts and hysetical utterances as rich w*nkers. You know, the people that pay a lot more tax to support those that pay nothing. What happened to gratitude.
Ok. Answer me one question with a yes/no. Is a mega rich, million pound a year earner, a more worthy human being than someone unable to work?
You're asking the wrong question, more than likely to illicet a response to suit your political agenda. But I will say this.
Define worthy firstly. To the economy, yes, to their contribution to society, more than likely through their taxes. It's only fair with so much taxation they get more of a voice on a countries governance than someone who pays in nothing to it IMHO. I buy 1 share in X PLC. I get less voting rights than someone with 100 shares in X PLC. It's fair and right. Why should governance be any different?
If all the mega rich left, and it was just poor people left, how would the country finance the infrastructure it has.
and you can compare a company to that of a democratic country.
the people that pay 20% tax contribute more than those that pay the 40% tax - do the rich contribute more per person yes but then they also earn more. I don't pay tax or NI because I don't earn enough but I also utterly struggle to get through a month. The sad fact is my kids would be better off if I actually left. In order to have a decent well paid job there has to be a position there to apply for.

My grandad only worked in a factory driving forklifts, not a challenging job or well paid so contributed little. However, he also spent 5 years of his life (between 21 and 26) in a German POW camp, was he less worthy of a vote?
Sure, there are some lazy idle idiots out there, but we live in a democracy and so everyone should have the right to vote, as long as they are over 18 and eligible to vote. I don't agree with prisoners having the vote as they should forfeit this right while inside. But my vote, Bransons vote and the bloke who never works yet has 18 kids should all be equal.
You are dealing with a fool who ks a serial troll
Why bother
You will get repetition of his own gospel time and time agiain
The man probably lives in his PJs and scans the Daily Mail to feed his MOCKRAGE which he monotonously self fertilises on here.
Saddo first class
the people that pay 20% tax contribute more than those that pay the 40% tax - wrong.
Personally, look in other sectors for a higher rate of pay. If 3 degrees cannot earn you a high living, you IMHO need to look elsewhere. I know of high earners with none or just 1 degree.
- In 2010-11, the 26.3 million basic rate (20%) taxpayers paid £67.9bn in income tax, with average personal income tax bills of £2,590
67.9 is more than 50.7 in my world
- The 3.2 million higher rate (40%) income taxpayers paid £50.7bn, or £16,300 each
I don't work in my area of expertise, if I did I would be getting 6x more than I am the now
the people that pay 20% tax contribute more than those that pay the 40% tax - wrong.

Imagine if the top 25% of earners shipped out with their 75% of tax contruntions. You'd have for all your socialist policies 75% of the population with 25% of the budget..
How kind of you to address (and fail to) the points I have raised. You must be proud.
